Speculation is running rampant on Twitter regarding the authenticity of baby Archie’s christening photo, with many claiming that it has been heavily edited.
The picture, which features a noticeable gap in the middle, has sparked curiosity and confusion among royal enthusiasts.
Body language expert Judy James has even weighed in, suggesting that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, appears ready to flee, while Prince William adopts a protective stance akin to that of a nightclub bouncer.
However, none of these observations explain why half of the photo is left unoccupied.
A closer examination of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s expression reveals a sense of horror, much like that of a mother pleading with her baby not to soil her white Dior dress with an overflowing diaper.
The image in question was chosen by Meghan and Prince Harry to celebrate King Charles’ 71st birthday.
It captures Archie dressed in his baptism robes during the christening ceremony, with Prince Harry proudly cradling his son in his arms as King Charles stands beside them, gazing at his grandson.
The couple shared the picture on their Instagram account, accompanied by a birthday message for His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, followed by a birthday cake emoji.
The photograph, taken by Chris Allerton, has raised suspicions among social media theorists who claim that King Charles was digitally inserted into the picture.
They point out that he is wearing the exact same suit, pocket square, and purple buttonhole flower that he wore at Prince Louis’ baptism.
Interestingly, there are several similarities between Archie’s photos and those of Prince Louis.
Both christenings featured official portraits with comparable compositions.
Notably, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were absent from both events and did not appear in the photographs.
While only one larger group portrait from Archie’s christening has been released thus far, it bears a striking resemblance to the portraits taken at Prince Louis’ christening.
In both cases, the closest relatives of the parents are positioned on the sides.
For Prince Harry, this included Prince William, Catherine, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.
On Meghan’s side, her mother Doria Ragland was present, along with Princess Diana’s sisters Lady Jane Fellows and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, paying tribute to Harry’s late mother.
A Twitter account pointed out that there are no publicly available photos showing any member of the royal family holding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children.
This has led some to question the authenticity of the christening pictures, with claims of excessive photoshopping.
One Twitter user expressed frustration, stating, “They never touched or held the kids once, none of them.
That’s telling.”
Another added, “It just irks me that there’s never been a single photo released of anyone but Harry and Meghan holding the baby, and all the photos of the baby at the christening look photoshopped.”
In a shocking tweet, an account named Meghan’s Mall on Twitter alleged that Meghan Markle never gave birth to Archie or Lilibet.
The tweet accused Markle of being a fraud who used racism to manipulate the royal family and claimed that she faked her pregnancies to secure two children in the line of succession.
The tweet further included videos showcasing Meghan’s supposedly square bump.
The controversy surrounding the authenticity of Archie’s christening photo continues to grow, with social media abuzz with theories and speculation.
As the debate rages on, it remains to be seen whether any concrete evidence will emerge to either confirm or dispel these claims.
