In a historic revision to King Charles III’s upcoming coronation, it has been revealed that Prince Harry will be excluded from the ceremony and stripped of his title.
This downsized event will see approximately 2,000 individuals attending the service at Westminster Abbey, a significant contrast to the 8,251 guests invited to Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.
Dukes, who hold the highest and most exclusive rank in the peerage system, have been left out of the guest list for this momentous occasion.
According to Debrets, dukes are positioned above Marquess, Earl, Viscount, and Baron in the ranks.
Currently, there are 24 dukes, excluding royal dukes like the Duke of Sussex, the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Duke of Kent, who would traditionally receive invitations to coronations.
However, sources from within the royal family reveal that the 24 dukes are highly displeased with Prince Harry’s inclusion in the upcoming coronation.
They even expressed offense at the possibility of having to sit in the same row as the Duke of Sussex.
In response, a unanimous letter has been sent to the royal family, urging them to exclude Harry from this historic event due to the turmoil and damage he and Meghan Markle have caused to the royal family.
Despite stepping away from their royal roles, Harry and Meghan continue to use their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Furthermore, they intend to refer to their children as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in formal contexts.
This decision showcases their mixed feelings towards the significance of these titles, while also highlighting their determination to ensure their children receive the entitlements granted by a hereditary monarchy.
However, this choice comes with potential risks to their reputation, particularly in the United States where public opinion has shifted against the couple retaining their titles.
A recent poll indicates that 55% of Americans support the stripping of Harry and Meghan’s titles, with only 16% opposing such a move.
Adding to the criticism, Tom Parker, Queen Camilla’s son, has voiced his disapproval of Harry’s focus on titles, wealth, and fame, while neglecting familial affection.
He confirmed that he and his sister will not be receiving titles, stating, “You’re not going to find us with great estates and being called the Duke of whatever.
Nope, that would be appalling.”
Parker further dismissed Harry’s behavior as that of someone thirsty for attention, petty, entitled, and lacking intelligence.
In a surprising turn, Prince Harry made shocking allegations against his stepmother, Camilla, accusing her of sacrificing him to enhance her public image.
He claimed that she swiftly devised a long-term strategy aimed at marriage and ultimately ascending to the throne.
In a press interview promoting a book, Harry went as far as labeling Camilla as a villain and suggesting she posed a danger.
Parker Bowles, speaking about the upcoming coronation, acknowledged the challenges faced by his 75-year-old mother.
He expressed admiration for her resilience, stating, “You just do it.
She’s never complained.”
When asked if he found it strange that his mother is now the Queen, Parker responded that she is still their mother, emphasizing that he speaks on behalf of himself and his sister, not the royals.
As the coronation approaches, tensions rise within the royal family, with the exclusion of Prince Harry from this historic event and the ongoing debate surrounding titles and their significance.
