James Corden, the former host of The Late Late Show with James Corden, has reportedly paid a visit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their lavish home in Montecito, California.
This comes after James recently relocated back to the UK with his wife and children.
The friendship between James and the Sussexes goes way back, as they have been close for quite some time now.
In fact, the couple even attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding back in May 2018.
However, it seems that James was seen dining with his family at Lucky’s Steakhouse without the presence of Harry and Meghan.
According to the Daily Mail, after returning to the US following his move to the UK, James made a detour to Prince Harry and Meghan’s $14 million estate in Montecito.
An insider revealed that James and his family spent about an hour at Harry’s place before heading out for dinner.
Speculation arose that James’s visit to Montecito was an attempt to convince the public that he was visiting Harry, who is rumored to be staying at a hotel.
It has been suggested that James wanted to create the impression that they still live together at the Olive Garden, but in reality, they sleep separately.
Meghan allegedly claimed that they all had a great time playing in the pool on pizza floaties, enjoying wine, eating mall food, and even roasting a chicken.
James has openly spoken about his friendship with Prince Harry and Meghan.
In an interview with The Sun, he mentioned visiting their California home with his wife and kids.
He expressed his admiration for the couple, stating, “Look, I’m a huge fan of both of them.”
James further praised Prince Harry, emphasizing the immense respect he has for him, adding that anyone who has spent time with Harry would feel the same way.
Prince Harry, in turn, appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where the host took him on a tour of California aboard a double-decker bus.
During the segment, Harry even had a video call with Meghan, who made a surprise appearance.
James spoke about his experience on the show, revealing that it has been quite a journey.
Recently, James playfully teased Harry about a passage in his memoir, where the Duke of Sussex detailed losing his virginity to an older woman in a field behind a pub.
This revelation from Harry’s highly anticipated book, “Spare,” prompted a humorous exchange between the two.
Harry also discussed the book’s surprising revelations in an interview with ITV journalist Tom Bradby, which James reacted to on a recent episode of The Late Late Show.
James jokingly commented, “You lose your virginity in a field or in a pub, right?
It’s not great either way.
In a field behind a pub?
That’s terrible, isn’t it?”
Harry defended himself during the interview, and James responded with a lighthearted joke, saying, “Only four lines?
That’s okay, it happens to a lot of guys the first time.”
