In a stunning revelation, Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly expressed her regret over her grandson Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle, referring to their courtship as a “complete catastrophe” and even going so far as to call Meghan “evil.”
This shocking disclosure was made at a reception in Balmoral back in August, just weeks before the Queen’s passing, according to a source close to the royal family.
During the pre-dinner drinks, a small group had the opportunity to converse with the monarch, and it was during this interaction that Queen Elizabeth made her uncharacteristic remarks about Meghan.
The source claimed that the Queen described Meghan as “evil” and expressed her belief that Harry meeting Meghan had turned into a disaster.
The source further revealed that everyone present was taken aback by the Queen’s candid assessment of Meghan.
This latest report also brings to light a new rumor surrounding Meghan’s departure from the UK.
According to Markle News on Instagram, it is suggested that Queen Elizabeth may have played a role in expelling her rebellious granddaughter-in-law.
The rumor alleges that the Queen had requested a meeting with Meghan prior to her exit.
It is well-known that declining an invitation from the monarch is simply not done, regardless of one’s familial relationship.
As Meghan had a prior commitment to attend one of the Queen’s patronages, she allegedly canceled the meeting with the monarch.
The aides promptly informed the Queen of Meghan’s decision, prompting her to summon Meghan.
However, Meghan reportedly declined once again.
This incident occurred around the same time Prince William caught Meghan taking pictures of Princess Charlotte while she was asleep.
There were also allegations of missing jewelry, as Meghan continued to receive expensive gifts despite being informed that the royals do not accept freebies.
Upon learning of Meghan’s intention to attend a meeting, the aides contacted the patronage and canceled it on the Queen’s orders.
When Meghan arrived, she was met with silence and no one greeted her.
This allegedly sparked a massive tantrum from Meghan.
To make matters worse, when the aides informed Meghan that the Queen had ordered her departure, she defiantly shouted, “Get your hands off me, I’m the Duchess.”
Eventually, Meghan was escorted to the airport with only two bags of clothes and personal items from Frogmore Cottage, as her belongings were not packed.
The royal protectors accompanied Meghan on the flight, where she was met by Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, and Prince Edward.
They stayed with Meghan until she left for Canada.
It is worth noting that this incident occurred just one day before Meghan and Harry released their statement on Instagram, announcing their intention to step back from their royal duties.
Photographs have emerged showing Meghan being escorted from a theater in London, where she believed she had a meeting scheduled.
On that day, the Queen also reportedly ordered the removal of Meghan’s rings, including the engagement ring adorned with diamonds from Princess Diana’s jewel set, as well as the rare Welsh gold band commonly used for royal wedding rings.
It is speculated that the Queen did not want these rings to be sold by Meghan, leading to suspicions that the rings Meghan was seen wearing after “Megxit” were fake.
Adding to the drama, Prince Harry is now demanding an apology for Meghan.
In a promotional interview for his memoir, “Spare,” he expressed his desire for his family to apologize to her, stating, “You know what you did, and now I know why you did it, and you’ve been caught out, so just come clean.”
This demand for an apology stems from the incident in which Meghan was sent back to Canada.
Furthermore, Harry attended the infamous Sandringham Summit alone, as Meghan was unable to participate due to her relocation.
While the involvement of Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, in Meghan’s departure remains uncertain, it raises questions about their potential role in the situation.
Although it can be surmised that Sophie may have been involved in sending Meghan to Canada, Edward’s level of involvement remains unclear.
