Hello, world folks!
Welcome back to your regular dose of world news and analysis.
Today, we have an exciting update for all the royal family enthusiasts out there.
As we eagerly await the coronation of King Charles, it is expected that the event will showcase Prince William and Kate Middleton’s family in a prominent way.
According to a royal expert, Charles is planning to use this historic moment to emphasize the line of succession and introduce his streamlined Royal family.
Over the past few months, we have witnessed William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis participating in various royal celebrations, including trooping the color and the Queen’s platinum Jubilee events.
However, it was little Prince Louis who undeniably stole the show with his adorable presence.
Following the sad demise of Queen Elizabeth on September 8th, her oldest son, Charles, assumed the role of the head of the monarchy.
Now, as the new sovereign, Charles is expected to seize this opportunity to highlight the line of succession, which will prominently feature William and his family.
Excerpts from a book published in Vanity Fair have shed some light on the upcoming coronation.
It is speculated that the ceremony, codenamed “Operation Golden Orb,” will take place in the spring or summer of 2023.
While Charles aims for a shorter and less expensive coronation compared to his mother’s, he wants the public to witness the experience, just as they did during his ascension.
Reports suggest that Charles has plans to transform Buckingham Palace into a museum, a move that aligns with his long-term vision of making the royal family more profitable while reducing its footprint.
This would mean limiting the number of working royals to a select few.
Although the coronation is still a while away, it is intriguing to consider how much attention William and his family will receive, potentially leaving other royals in the shadows.
However, this decision may not sit well with Prince Harry.
Given the uncertain dynamics within the family, it is unclear where Harry’s relationship with the royal family will stand by then.
With the release date of his memoir postponed until next year, he may find himself excluded from Charles’s big day.
