Harry and Meghan made their way to New York City on Tuesday to host the Archor Foundation Parents Summit as part of Project Healthy Mind’s World Mental Health Day Festival.
However, an eyewitness who attended the event has shared some interesting insights into what really happened behind the scenes.
According to a netizen who commented on YouTube, most of the people surrounding Harry and Meghan, including the US Surgeon General, who walked in with an uncharacteristically sour expression, had been present at an earlier hosted event to introduce the couple.
Word had apparently leaked from that event about Meghan’s inappropriate attire, which raised some eyebrows.
It soon became clear that there was a photographer present, supposedly from Archwall, to document the event, but it quickly became evident that it was actually a planned photo shoot for Meghan.
Only photos were taken if Meghan was in them.
The Surgeon General, experienced in these types of meet and greets, introduced someone important and motioned for the photographer to come and take a picture, as is customary.
However, the photographer seemed confused about what to do, which in turn confused the Surgeon General, who expected a quick snap and move on.
A coordinator from Archwall or WME then signaled for both of them to hold their positions and quickly guided Meghan over.
Unfortunately, no one fetched Harry, so Meghan could be part of the photo.
Meghan then commanded the photographer to capture the picture with her beaming smile, even outshining the white tablecloths.
Shortly after the photo was taken, Meghan’s mask slipped, and she was overheard telling the Surgeon General that the photographer was her personal photographer, not there for the guests or the party.
This revelation may explain the Surgeon General’s sour expression upon later joining her.
Throughout the event, Meghan attempted to insert herself into conversations others were having, raising her voice to gain attention when they didn’t immediately stop and listen to her.
At one point, an Archwall WME representative even redirected Meghan to another group to speak with.
Her attire also caught everyone’s attention, as she stood out in a formal evening suit while everyone else was dressed in formal business attire.
This fashion choice was seen as a major faux pas, as Meghan often prioritizes appearing glamorous or wealthy over dressing appropriately and with class.
The event primarily consisted of mental health experts, and there was no one in attendance who believed Meghan had any expertise in the field.
In fact, it seems that most people at the event held negative opinions of the couple, which is why they were not invited to the gala dinner that followed their speech.
Tickets for the gala were priced in the thousands and above, attracting individuals with diverse potential and financial acumen, far beyond Meghan’s reach.
Additionally, Meghan would have been expected to engage in meaningful discussions and projects related to the event’s agenda, something that her superficial contributions cannot comprehend.
Reportedly, Harry and Meghan left the panel discussion after just two hours, a common occurrence when they feel they are not being honored in the way they desire.
Surprisingly, there was no escorted security or crowds waiting for them in New York, indicating a lack of enthusiasm or interest from the public.
In conclusion, the Archor Foundation Parents Summit hosted by Harry and Meghan in New York City had its fair share of behind-the-scenes drama.
From Meghan’s personal photographer to her questionable attire and attempts to dominate conversations, it seems that the couple’s presence did not sit well with many attendees.
Their early departure and the absence of security or crowds further highlight the lukewarm reception they received.
