Despite bombshell claims made in a new book, King Charles was seen in high spirits as he attended Sunday service at a church in Sandringham, Norfolk.
The monarch, who recently celebrated his 75th birthday, appeared unfazed by the incendiary allegations, exuding a business-as-usual attitude as he strolled through the grounds.
Renowned royal biographer Olmert Scooby, known for his close ties to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has made sensational claims in his upcoming book, “Endgame,” set to be released on Tuesday.
According to Scooby, the king goes to extreme lengths to ensure his comfort, such as having his shoelaces ironed for him and demanding one inch of toothpaste squeezed onto his toothbrush.
Additionally, it is alleged that he travels with fresh steamed bed linen.
Undeterred by these revelations, the impeccably dressed king walked purposefully to St. Mary Magdalene Church this morning, where he warmly greeted the vicar and engaged in the service.
An extract from Scooby’s book, published in The Sun, reveals the extent to which the king’s shoelaces are meticulously maintained, stating that any signs of wear and tear prompt an immediate replacement with a freshly ironed pair.
Similarly, rumors suggest that Charles insists on precisely one inch of toothpaste on his brush as part of his bedtime routine.
Furthermore, leaked excerpts from Scooby’s book claim that the king referred to Prince Harry as a “fool” when the Duke of Sussex disclosed details of the family’s feuds in a Netflix documentary.
Scooby’s attack on the late Princess of Wales is also highlighted, portraying her as a woman constrained by fear, only able to display a constant smile during public appearances.
Despite these scathing accusations, Buckingham Palace has chosen to remain silent, treating the claims with disdain.
Palace officials have denounced the lies propagated by both Scooby and the Sussexes.
Interestingly, much of the information featured in Scooby’s book appears to have been borrowed from Christopher Anderson’s book, “King Charles III.”
Furthermore, Paul Borel previously discussed the toothpaste and shoelace rituals as early as 2018.
Therefore, these allegations are not entirely new.
In response to the recent controversy, one of Charles’s biographers, whose name escapes me at the moment, addressed the issue in 1990 when the prince suffered an injury during a polo match.
His arm required immobilization for several months, during which his valet assumed additional duties, including applying toothpaste to his brush.
However, once his arm healed, Charles resumed the task himself.
Scooby conveniently omitted this context, akin to Meghan Markle’s approach, hoping to capitalize on tired tropes for financial gain.
The British public is outraged by the unfounded smears against the Prince and Princess of Wales.
However, there is no anger directed towards Princess Anne, who successfully convinced the king not to renew Prince Harry’s lease on Frogmore House.
Instead, Anne is commended for her initiative.
Despite tensions between Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and certain members of the royal family, the couple remains resolute in defending their strained relationships.
According to a source, the animosity between Harry and his sister-in-law, Princess Catherine, still lingers.
Meghan and Harry have not hesitated to publicly criticize the royal family.
The source explains that Kate is unable to retaliate due to palace protocol, which prohibits such responses.
However, the Prince and Princess of Wales continue to garner public support.
Kate, in particular, has emerged unscathed from the drama, as she chose to rise above it.
Their approach of remaining composed and not taking the bait has backfired on their detractors.
Public relations expert Eddie Corm James highlights that the public sympathizes with the couple and admires their poised, mature, and dignified response.
