In the midst of the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the Royals, author Omid Scobie has cast doubt on the notion that Princess Kate is a royal peacemaker.
Scobie, who recently released his book “Endgame,” has refuted claims that the Princess of Wales actively seeks to resolve conflicts within the Royal Family.

Since the release of “Endgame,” Scobie has addressed the claims made in his latest work.
The author, who co-wrote “Finding Freedom” in 2020, has explored various relationships within the family, including that between Princess Kate and Meghan Markle.
Although the Princess of Wales has often been portrayed as a peacemaker, Scobie denies having any knowledge of such a role.
He questions the origin of the stories surrounding Kate’s alleged peacekeeping efforts, stating that he has not received any information to support these claims.
According to Scobie, based on his observations and conversations, Kate prefers to stay out of conflicts.
There have been no visible attempts from her side to mediate or encourage communication between Meghan, Harry, and herself or between the two brothers.
Speaking to Elle, Scobie stated, “I have questioned where the Kate the Peacekeeper stories come from because I’ve certainly not had anyone tell me anything of the sort.
From my observations and the conversations I’ve had with people, Kate likes to stay out of that stuff, and we’ve certainly not seen any efforts from her maid to smooth things over with any issues with herself and Meghan or with Harry or any kind of encouragement between the two brothers to talk.
I don’t know where the peacekeeper stuff comes from.”
Scobie further discusses the stereotypes surrounding Princess Kate, suggesting that she would likely desire for the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry to end, just like any sweet and innocent wife would.
He emphasizes that there is a lack of substantial knowledge about the Princess of Wales, similar to what was experienced with a former late member of the family.
Scobie believes that the press often projects onto Kate what is expected of her or what they assume she would do in such situations, a tactic reminiscent of how the Queen was portrayed.
Regarding Kate and Meghan, an insider previously revealed to the Telegraph that Meghan felt she had more authority to speak out compared to her sister-in-law.
Meghan perceived herself as a self-made woman, while Kate had entered the family as an unknown.
Meghan officially joined the Royal Family in 2018, having established a career as an actress prior to meeting Prince Harry.
On the other hand, the Princess of Wales met Prince William over two decades ago at university, initiating their relationship shortly after.
