At just 10 years old, Prince George is already shouldering a great deal of expectations as the future king.
However, he is fortunate to have Princess Kate by his side, preparing him in the most endearing way possible.
During a recent outing with the royal children, Kate was seen giving her eldest child some stellar encouragement.
The heartwarming footage, captured during a visit to Windsor’s Baby Bank earlier this year, shows Prince George, alongside his sister, Princess Charlotte, and little brother, Prince Louis, helping wrap gifts for less fortunate children as part of the center’s Christmas pyjama appeal.
In one touching moment, Kate can be seen putting a protective arm around George, conveying the rewarding nature of their work.
She tells him, “You can see how rewarding this sort of work is, knowing you are helping others,” to which George replies, “Yeah.”
Kate further explains their task to George, stating that all the bags are donations and they need to sort and pack them into boxes.
The heartwarming clip, created by filmmaker Will Waugh, who has previously worked with the royal family, was shared on the Kensington Royal social media accounts.
The video also captures Charlotte’s excitement as she exclaims, “Oh la la!”
while helping pick out toys.
The royal siblings are shown carefully selecting toys and clothes to include in the gift bags.
Prince Louis, with his cheeky charm, chooses a King Kong toy, exclaiming, “This is a big guy,” as they write out gift tags.
Another sweet moment in the video shows Charlotte giggling with her mom as they come across a baby grow featuring a Welsh flag.
The video concludes with the children and Kate carrying the gift bags, ready to be donated to families in need, accompanied by a message of gratitude to all those who generously support baby banks across the country.
This visit to Windsor’s Baby Bank is not the first time Kate has been involved with the charity.
The organization, founded in 2015 by two local mothers, aims to support parents of young children facing financial difficulties.
It has already assisted 24,000 families in the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire areas.
In the past 18 months, the number of referrals to the charity has soared due to the cost-of-living crisis, with an additional 300 families receiving help in the first three months of this year alone.
The royal visit aligns with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s initiative launched at the end of November.
The initiative aims to provide support to families with young children in the lead-up to Christmas.
Princess Kate, during a recent visit to a similar charity called Sebby’s Corner in Barnet, north London, emphasized the importance of normalizing the services provided by these organizations.
She acknowledged the vital role played by those caring for young children and stressed the necessity of community support networks, not only for children but also for parents.
Kate stated, “Every child should have the basic essentials.
The needs are really huge.”
As Prince George continues to grow, it is clear that he is being nurtured with love and guidance from his mother, Princess Kate.
With her steady presence and wise counsel, he is being prepared to take on the responsibilities that await him as the future king.
