Prince Harry has intensified his ongoing feud with Piers Morgan by launching a scathing personal attack on the talk show host and Fox Nation presenter during a dramatic court testimony.
In response, Piers Morgan has warned that he will not remain silent once the legal proceedings are over, after being targeted by Prince Harry in his high-profile hacking case against the former editor of the Daily Mirror.
When asked about Prince Harry’s appearance in court, Morgan jokingly remarked, “I didn’t witness it, but I wish him the best of luck with his privacy campaign.
I’ll eagerly await the details in his next book.”
In court documents, Prince Harry claimed that Morgan had subjected him and his wife to relentless personal attacks and intimidation.
However, Piers Morgan admitted that it was actually Harry’s wife who had been in contact with him.
Furthermore, Morgan cautioned Prince Harry to be wary of his own wife’s actions.
He suggested that Harry should question Meghan Markle about her involvement in the phone hacking incidents targeting Princess Catherine and Chelsea Davies before making baseless accusations in court.
According to Morgan, he had met Markle for drinks at a local pub in 2016 after a year of exchanging messages on social media.
Recounting their meeting, Piers said, “She sent me a message saying, ‘Hey, I’m in town, do you want to meet up?’
And I replied, ‘Sure, come to my local pub for a pint.'”
During their conversation, Meghan discussed Prince William’s wife, referring to her as “Waity Katie” and claiming that she had been stalking Kate for over 12 years.
Piers believes that Meghan’s involvement may have played a role in the alleged hacking of Kate’s phone on 155 occasions.
Meghan Markle is notorious for launching covert attacks from a safe distance and using others as a shield.
Prince Harry’s lack of understanding of journalism is evident, as his entire court case seems to revolve around his and Meghan Markle’s intense animosity towards Piers Morgan.
For those unfamiliar with Piers’ background, he served as the editor of the Mirror for more than a decade in the 1990s and early 2000s.
During cross-examination, Prince Harry stumbled multiple times and predictably brought up his mother.
The Duke claimed that Morgan had been intimidating him and his wife ever since they initiated legal action against the publisher of the Mirror newspaper.
In his court statement, Harry expressed, “Unfortunately, as a result of my legal proceedings against the Mirror Group, both my wife and I have endured a barrage of appalling personal attacks and intimidation from Piers Morgan, who was the editor of the Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004.
It appears to be a retaliatory tactic, aimed at dissuading me from holding him accountable for his unlawful actions towards both myself and my mother during his tenure.”
When approached near his London residence for comment, Morgan, who has consistently denied involvement in phone hacking, stated, “The sensible approach is for everyone to await the conclusion of these proceedings before expressing their opinions.
I have never been known for my silence, and I suspect that won’t change once this is all over.”
In conclusion, despite his controversial remarks in the past, Piers Morgan maintains that he has nothing to apologize for.
He firmly believes that expressing his opinion, which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle argue should be deemed illegal, is justified.
