Meghan Markle, the former royal who relocated to California with Prince Harry to pursue a Hollywood career, has faced a series of setbacks and rejections since her move.

However, her latest attempt to boost her profile and credibility in the industry by joining her former co-star Kevin Costner on the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards turned out to be a major embarrassment.

Just days before the event, Meghan reached out to Costner and pleaded with him to take her as his plus one.

She claimed that she wanted to support him and catch up, promising a special surprise that she would reveal during a live TV interview.

Meghan hoped that by appearing with Costner, she could showcase her baby bump to the world and enhance her standing in the industry.

Unfortunately for Meghan, Costner politely declined her request.

Meghan reminded him of how she supposedly helped him secure the role in Yellowstone by introducing him to her friend and producer Taylor Sheridan, who created the show.

Costner, however, was unimpressed by Meghan’s claims.

He firmly stated that he owed her nothing and had earned the role based on his own talent and merit.

Advising her to stop chasing the spotlight, Costner urged Meghan to concentrate on her own projects, family, and respect the boundaries of others.

Meghan’s anger and embarrassment led her to block Costner on all social media platforms and vow to never work with him again.

She also instructed her friends and associates to avoid him and spread negative rumors about him in the press.

On the other hand, Costner remained unfazed by Meghan’s tantrum and enjoyed a delightful evening at the Golden Globes with his wife and Yellowstone co-stars.

Costner’s night was made even sweeter when he won the Best Actor in a Drama Series award.

During his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to his fans, family, and colleagues for their support and love.

Notably, he made no mention of Meghan and did not acknowledge her presence in the audience.

Meanwhile, Meghan attended the event as a guest of Netflix but found herself sitting alone and sulking in her seat.

Prince Harry was noticeably absent from the event, reportedly choosing to distance himself from Meghan’s drama and focus on his own projects and charity work.

Meghan’s ill-fated attempt to utilize Costner as a stepping stone to revive her Hollywood career only exposed her desperation and manipulative nature.

It showcased her lack of respect for former colleagues and friends.
