Princess Beatrice of the British royal family has captured the hearts of fans with her sweet and genuine interaction with the crowd on Christmas Day.
Alongside other members of the royal family, Beatrice participated in their annual walkabout outside St Mary Magdalene’s church.
During this time, she took a moment to engage with a group of well-wishers who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the royals.
In a video shared on X, Princess Beatrice can be seen warmly chatting with the crowd, expressing her hopes that it wasn’t too chilly for them.
She also praised their singing, stating how much she loves Christmas carols as they make her feel good.
Beside her stood her husband Eduardo Mappalimozzi, who looked on proudly at his princess.
Duchess Sophie was also present, walking behind Beatrice at a leisurely pace, accompanied by her daughter Lady Louise Windsor.
Both Sophie and Louise greeted the group and waved to the crowd.
Royal enthusiasts were quick to notice and appreciate Princess Beatrice’s kind interaction.
Social media platforms were flooded with praise for the princess.
One user expressed their admiration, stating, “Make Princess Beatrice a senior royal.”
Another comment read, “I like Beatrice, she has grown so much since her marriage.
She’s a councillor of state, so I guess she’s trusted.
Also, her husband is from Italian aristocracy, he’s a count, so he understands royal protocol.”
The outpouring of support continued, with another user mentioning Beatrice’s endearing qualities as a councillor of state, while a fourth fan declared their adoration for both Beatrice and Eduardo, suggesting they would make excellent fill-ins as some older royals retire from their duties.
Amidst ongoing tensions between Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice, and the Sussexes, if Beatrice were chosen to replace Prince Harry’s role, it could potentially fuel further displeasure from the Sussexes.
King Charles III’s plan for a streamlined monarchy may have been honorable, but it appears to pose challenges for those with young families.
Lady Louise Windsor, the 20-year-old daughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, is rumored to be the next royal family member to assume a more prominent position.
Alongside Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, Lady Louise is ready to step into the spotlight after observing her parents gracefully fulfill their engagements.
Gareth Russell, author of the upcoming book “The Palace from the Tudors to the Windsors: 500 Years of British History at Hampton Court,” shared his insights on GB News, stating that Charles is facing a crisis in filling senior roles.
He explained that the monarchy was never intended to function without the presence of the Duke of Sussex, and therefore, adjustments must be made.
Russell suggested that the royal family may need to reduce their patronage of charities and the number of events they attend, or alternatively, recruit three additional royals.
These recruits would likely include Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as their cousin Lady Louise.
The burden of responsibilities has primarily fallen on Prince William, Duchess Kate, Prince Edward, and Duchess Sophie.
However, they are not meant to cover as many events as they currently do.
This urgency is why Russell believes it is crucial for Charles to promote his nieces.
