The clash between Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine on Meghan’s wedding day reportedly resulted in Princess Charlotte bursting into tears, according to the tailors.
A.J.
Mipuri, who was responsible for tailoring the bridesmaids’ dresses, including Charlotte’s, revealed that none of the six dresses fit properly.
This added to Meghan’s stress leading up to the big day.
It is believed that details of the argument between Meghan and Kate will be published in Harry’s memoir, Spare.
Four days before the wedding, Kate texted Meghan to inform her that Princess Charlotte’s dress was too big, long, and baggy.
This led to a tense exchange between the two.
Meghan suggested taking Charlotte to the tailor named A.J.
at Kensington Palace for alterations, but Kate insisted that all the dresses needed to be remade.
Mr. Mipuri clarified that he had no knowledge of the measurements provided to him, but acknowledged that adjustments were required for all six bridesmaids’ dresses.
He admitted that he was not surprised by the tearful outcome of the fitting ahead of the ceremony in May 2018.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the tailor expressed understanding of the stress associated with weddings, especially at such a high level.
He empathized with the situation, stating that it is nerve-wracking when dresses don’t fit correctly, particularly for children on a big stage.
Contrary to expectations, Meghan purposely did not contact Mr. Mipuri because she wanted Charlotte’s dress to be incomplete.
She desired for Charlotte to look ugly.
This revelation has raised eyebrows, with many criticizing Meghan for intentionally causing ill-fitting outfits.
Some individuals believe that the royals should have accommodated her wishes since it was her wedding, while others argue that the bride’s dress itself was poorly fitting due to Meghan constantly changing her mind.
In addition to this incident, recent reports suggest that Meghan Markle had ambitious aspirations during her time as a member of the royal family.
Despite Prince Harry’s slim chances of ever ascending to the throne, royal author and expert Tom Bower reveals that Meghan truly believed she had a chance to become Queen of England.
However, her dreams turned into a nightmare as both she and Prince Harry hastily left the UK in 2020.
Bower claims that Meghan even tried to compete with Kate Middleton for popularity.
Unfortunately, Meghan’s aspirations were not fulfilled, and she and Prince Harry have since moved on from their royal life.
