Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly denied entry to a private box at this year’s Superbowl.
The organization hosting the event claimed they did not have enough space for the couple.
It is believed that Meghan hoped to divert attention away from Taylor Swift.
On Valentine’s Day, Harry chose to attend his first Superbowl alongside his cousin, Princess Eugenie, in 2022, leaving Meghan behind.
The Duke of Sussex was seen sitting in luxurious leather seats inside a private box at SoFi Stadium in California, accompanied by his royal relative, for the highly anticipated match between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals at Superbowl LVI.
However, this time, both Harry and Meghan were unable to secure seats.
This incident follows Meghan Markle’s exclusion from a second Suits reunion, where some of her former castmates gathered in court for the Superbowl.
The cast of Suits finally reunited for a commercial that will air during the Superbowl.
ELF Cosmetics teased the commercial, which features three original Suits cast members, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and Sarah Rafferty, along with Meghan Trainor, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Heidi Closet, and footballer Emanuel Acho.
In the teaser, ELF delivers summons to some of the most beloved characters from courtroom entertainment, with the video captioned, “You’ve been summoned to serve.”
Last summer, Suits unexpectedly became the most streamed show for 12 consecutive weeks after it was added to Netflix.
Gina Torres, who portrayed Jessica Pearson in the series, expressed her surprise and delight at the renewed interest in the show.
She mentioned that it was strange and wonderful to see people still invested in the series.
Torres also acknowledged the industry’s perception of Suits as merely a “cute cable show.”
Patrick J Adams, another co-star, was unable to appear in the commercial due to his commitments to a film being shot in South Africa.
However, there was no mention of Meghan Markle, who reportedly has been approached to star in a spin-off series of Suits.
This recent reunion follows another Suits gathering at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, where Torres and Rafferty presented an award alongside co-stars Patrick J Adams and Gabriel Macht.
However, Meghan Markle’s rumored appearance in an upcoming Suits reboot has been dismissed by royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.
Speaking to The Sun, Fitzwilliams described it as a comical and regressive move for Meghan if she were to return to acting.
A report from the Daily Express suggested that Meghan might consider acting again by starring in a spin-off of the popular legal drama, which originally ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019.
Fitzwilliams expressed his skepticism about the idea, stating, “That’s going backwards, but we’ve had so many reports about her potential projects that never materialized.”
Meghan has been signed with talent agency WME since April last year, but no projects have been announced thus far.
Fitzwilliams further commented, “If Meghan went back to Suits, it would be very ironic.
It would be retrogressive, rather comical.”
He acknowledged that while South Park and other comedians often make fun of the couple, they should not be underestimated as they are known for surprising people.
A senior production source revealed to the Express earlier this week that Meghan is in a strong position.
The source stated that there is a desire to expand the successful Suits franchise, benefiting from Meghan’s existing fan base of millions worldwide.
