Princess Charlotte, the only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales, has apparently embraced a charming nickname at school, allowing her to blend in with her peers.
The eight-year-old princess attends Lambrook School in Berkshire, alongside her two brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
Prince William and Princess Kate have always strived to provide their children with a sense of normalcy, even during their school life.
Initially known as Charlotte Cambridge, the young royal’s name underwent a change when her parents assumed the title of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Now, she is affectionately referred to as Charlotte Wales.
However, this isn’t the only alteration that has taken place.
During a visit to Northern Ireland in 2019, Princess Kate fondly called her daughter “Lottie.”
Experts now speculate that Charlotte is likely known as Lottie Wales among her schoolmates.
Aside from Lottie, Charlotte has acquired a range of endearing nicknames, including one bestowed upon her by her father, Prince William.
During their appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019, William affectionately referred to his four-year-old daughter as “Minionette,” a French term meaning small, sweet, and delicate.
The young princess is undoubtedly cherished by her family, who shower her with affectionate monikers.
However, Princess Charlotte is not the only one in the family to possess adorable nicknames.
Prince George, known for his initials, is often called “PG Tips” among his close circle.
In more intimate settings, he goes by the nickname “Tips.”
