Prince William has stepped up to help his wife, Kate, the Princess of Wales, as she recovers from abdominal surgery.

The Prince of Wales has put his royal duties on hold to be by Kate’s side during her hospital stay.

Despite his busy schedule, Prince William has been seen driving to the London Clinic to visit Kate and then returning home to Windsor to be with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Friends of the family have noted that the couple does not have a large staff at Adelaide Cottage, which means that Prince William has taken on a hands-on role in caring for their children while his wife recuperates.

He is determined to give them a proper upbringing filled with love and wants to ensure no mistakes are made with the next generation.

However, Prince William is actively involved in parenting and does not want to leave everything to the nanny.

The trusted nanny, Maria Theresa Turrian-Borrello, who has been with the family since shortly after Prince George’s birth, will likely provide support to Prince William during this time.

It is expected that the Princess of Wales will remain in the hospital for another week before returning home to her family.

Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate will not resume full duties until at least Easter as she focuses on her recovery.

Child psychologist, Dr Catherine Wickham, advised parents to respond to their children’s questions calmly and honestly, providing age-appropriate information while keeping details to a minimum, especially if some details are uncertain.

Dr Wickham also commended Prince William for not bringing the children to visit their mother in the hospital, suggesting that a video call and well-wishes cards would be more suitable at this time.
