Highly-Anticipated Clash Between Heavyweight World Champions Set for Saudi Arabia
Two renowned heavyweight world champions are gearing up for a much-anticipated showdown in Saudi Arabia on February 17th.
Both fighters are deep into their training camps, diligently preparing for the upcoming battle.
However, the challenge lies in finding suitable sparring partners who can replicate the unique styles and exceptional skills of each boxer.
In his training camp, Fury has enlisted the assistance of Moses Itama and Jayapeteya to emulate Usyk’s distinctive style and techniques.
Conversely, Usyk has been sharpening his skills by sparring with Sanil Hasanovic, a 25-year-old Serbian boxer standing at an imposing height of 6 feet 8.
Hasanovic boasts a professional record of 7-1-1 with 6 knockouts, although he may lack the experience and technical prowess to match Fury.
Despite the disparities in experience, Hasanovic’s physical attributes, particularly his towering height that aligns closely with Fury’s 6 feet 9 inches, make him a suitable sparring partner in terms of physical resemblance.
Hasanovic expressed confidence in Fury’s victory, stating, “After some serious sparring, I believe you will emerge victorious in the fight against Tyson Fury,” while acknowledging the support from his team at Kukbiksing Promotion.
Boxing trainer Don Charles, familiar with Usyk’s formidable boxing skills, has trained fighters who previously faced Usyk in the ring.
Charles notably worked with Derek Chisora in his bout against Usyk in 2020, where despite a valiant effort, Chisora succumbed to Usyk’s prowess.
Additionally, Charles coached Daniel Dubois for his matchup with Usyk in the previous year, resulting in another defeat.
Reflecting on Fury’s upcoming clash with Usyk, Charles expressed his belief in Fury’s dominance, stating, “I don’t even think it will be a hard fight for Fury.
He’ll maul him.
He’s too big for Usyk.”
Charles emphasized Fury’s physical advantage, envisioning a strategy of overwhelming Usyk with sheer size and strength during the bout.
As the date of the highly-anticipated fight draws near, both fighters remain focused on their training regimens, determined to showcase their skills and claim victory in the ring.
The boxing world eagerly anticipates the clash between these two heavyweight titans, with fans and analysts speculating on the outcome of the monumental battle set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
