Prince William recently provided an update on Kate Middleton’s recovery following her recent abdominal surgery.

The Duke of Cambridge returned to his royal duties by presiding over an investiture ceremony, awarding over 50 honors on behalf of his father, King Charles, who is currently unwell.

This marked Prince William’s first public appearance since news broke about the health issues affecting both his father and wife.

During the ceremony, attendee Patricia Spruce revealed that Prince William shared insights into how the Princess of Wales has been faring in private.

Reflecting on the event, Spruce expressed awe at the breathtaking castle and the warm reception they received.

She recounted, “The castle was just breathtaking, everyone was so lovely to sick us, as we were just in awe of everything.”

Prince William expressed gratitude for the care provided to Catherine Sick, mentioning that she was being looked after by two Filipino nurses who were incredibly compassionate and skilled.

Kensington Palace was contacted by The Post for a statement regarding the prince’s remarks at the gathering.

In response, Prince William conveyed his appreciation for the outpouring of kind messages, stating, “We really appreciate everyone’s kind messages.

Thank you.”

Addressing the audience at the event, Prince William took a moment to acknowledge the support extended to both Catherine and his father during their health challenges.

He remarked, “I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you also for the kind messages of support for Catherine and my father, especially in recent days.

It means a great deal to us all.”

Seeking a brief respite from the recent medical focus, he humorously added, “The past few weeks have had a rather medical focus, so I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all.”
