Prince George, the eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is set to celebrate his 7th birthday on Wednesday.

In honor of this special occasion, his proud mother, Kate, took two new photos of the young royal.

This has become a tradition for the Cambridge family, with Kate showcasing her talent behind the camera.

Unlike previous birthday photos, these snapshots capture a more relaxed side of George.

In the first picture, he is seen wearing a khaki polo shirt adorned with a compass, paired with grey shorts.

Standing outside against a fence, his neatly arranged blonde hair adds to his charming appearance.

The second photo showcases George’s toothy grin as he wears an army print t-shirt, exuding a carefree vibe.

Renowned royal photographer Ian Vogler commended Kate’s ability to capture truly lovely and natural shots of George.

Her keen eye for a great picture is evident in these photographs.

It is believed that both images were taken in Norfolk, where the family has spent their time during the lockdown.

Kate and William have taken on the role of homeschooling George and his sister Charlotte.

As for George’s birthday celebration, it remains unclear how he will be marking the occasion.

However, recent easing of restrictions by the government allows him to celebrate with extended family and friends while maintaining a safe distance.

Last year, his parents threw him a football-themed party at Kensington Palace, attended by many of his schoolmates.

On the day itself, the family was enjoying a summer holiday on the Caribbean island of Mystique.

Lockdown has affected the birthdays of all three Cambridge children.
