Prince William and Princess Kate have been joyfully reunited with their three young children after returning to the United Kingdom from their trip to America.
The royal couple wasted no time and headed straight to the airport after concluding the Earthshot Prizes, landing back in London on Saturday morning.
Eager to be with their children again, Kate and William quickly made their way back to Windsor.
During their absence, the royal children were under the care of their nanny, Maria Theresa Turrian, who has been a part of the family since 2014.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis had been separated from their parents for three days while they attended the second Earthshot Awards in Boston.
According to The Times, Prince William and Princess Kate flew back home overnight on Friday and, on Saturday morning, embarked on a family outing with their children to the Christmas Fair fundraiser at their school.
The royal couple surprised onlookers on the first day of their visit to Boston as they took their seats courtside to watch the Boston Celtics play against the Miami Heat.
On the second day, William and Kate explored Piers Park and learned about its history, which is now under threat due to rising sea levels.
Despite the freezing temperatures, William jokingly remarked that his hands would come out of his pockets once he could feel them again.
They also visited Greentown Labs in the nearby town of Somerville and met with individuals who had been assisted by ROCA, a non-profit organization supporting disadvantaged young people in the neighboring city of Chelsea.
During their time in Boston, the royal couple also engaged in their first public walkabout, where they greeted members of the public.
Their warmth and kindness moved one woman to tears.
On the third day, Kate visited the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University, while William paid a visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum before his meeting with President Joe Biden.
William’s tour of the library held special significance for him, as President Kennedy’s moonshot project served as inspiration for his own Earthshot initiative.
The couple then reunited for the main Earthshot event, which featured notable guests such as Catherine O’Hara and David Beckham.
