Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has faced criticism for allegedly opting for an easy interview with Jimmy Fallon.
Originally scheduled to appear on NBC’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in September to promote her Spotify podcast, Archetypes, the appearance was postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth.
However, despite the show announcing her appearance on December 7th, it has been revealed that this information was inaccurate.
Meghan’s decision to choose this talk show has sparked questions and garnered attention.
Karl Stefanovic, a Nine News presenter known for his previous criticism of Meghan, commented on her choice, saying, “Meghan Markle is about to complete the talk show trifecta.
First, it was Oprah, bombshell after bombshell, then Ellen, where she tried to make herself relevant, and now she’s locked in an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.”
Entertainment reporter Sam Rubin also weighed in, stating, “‘Obviously, she’s going for the easiest possible appearance.
Jimmy Fallon, it’s all marshmallows and not a difficult question.
She’ll be given the questions in advance.
It won’t be a substantial conversation.
Meghan Markle is many things.
Subtle is not one of them.”
Critics of Meghan have pointed out the hypocrisy in her denouncing the monarchy while still holding onto her royal titles.
One particular point of contention is the issue of “titlegate.”
Many wonder why Meghan, who no longer deserves these titles, is clinging onto them so tightly.
Royal expert Angela Levin addressed this matter during a discussion with Sarah Hewson, the host of royal tea, along with Matt Wilkinson, The Sun’s royal editor, and TV pundit Afua Hagan.
Levin suggested that Meghan’s recent actions are an attempt to remain relevant through provocation.
She stated, “‘Well, I think Meghan has wanted to be so private, now wants to do an A to Z of everything that she’s like, everything she’s been called, every bit of her life, and you know, she’s sort of now relying on the odd word, giving a view on it.”
Levin further expressed her belief that Meghan should take a step back and focus on her own life, rather than holding onto her royal titles and using them for attention.
She concluded by stating that Meghan has become increasingly boring.
In addition to this, Meghan faced backlash for sending out personal letters with an embossed crown alongside her signature.
Critics found this move to be pretentious and questioned her motives.
Meghan and Prince Harry, or as she annoyingly referred to him, “her husband,” were once seen as trailblazers challenging the status quo of the monarchy.
However, two years after their departure from royal duties, they are now being exposed as one-dimensional individuals driven by greed and a thirst for financial freedom.
Their actions seem to revolve around perpetuating a narrative of victimhood, with Meghan’s employers treating her like a mere bimbo and Harry’s allowance being taken away by his father.
Levin advised Meghan to find something more interesting in her life, stating, “‘You know, find an area in your life that’s not just about you.'”
As we move into 2023, the question remains whether these royal figures will find their way or continue down the path of deception.
With Harry’s memoir set to be released in January and the debut of their Netflix reality show, the world eagerly awaits their next moves.
