Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews have announced the arrival of their second child, a beautiful baby girl.
The news was confirmed by a family source who revealed that Pippa gave birth on Monday 15 March at approximately 4:22 am.
The couple has chosen to name their daughter Grace Elizabeth Jane, and she weighed a healthy 6lbs 7oz.
Both mother and baby are said to be doing well, and the entire family is overjoyed by this happy arrival.
Known for her privacy when it comes to her personal life, Pippa Middleton has kept details of her pregnancy under wraps.
Reports of her expecting first emerged in December last year, with sources close to the family sharing the news that the baby was due in 2021.
Now, the newest addition to the Middleton-Matthews clan becomes the fifth grandchild for Pippa’s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton.
Grace will also have the pleasure of growing up alongside her cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the children of Pippa’s sister, Kate, and Prince William.
The bond between Pippa and her older sister Kate is well-known, and the two sisters are also close with their brother James Middleton.
James, who had to postpone his wedding to fiancée Alice Thevenet in 2020 due to the pandemic, is now looking forward to tying the knot this year.
The Middleton family continues to grow and celebrate these joyous milestones.
Throughout her second pregnancy, Pippa maintained a relatively low profile and was only spotted a few times in her neighborhood.
Pippa and James own an impressive £17m mansion in West London, where they reside.
In 2018, during her first pregnancy with son Arthur, Pippa shared her experience in her Waitrose Weekend Fitness column.
She spoke about the adjustments she made to her exercise routine and the importance of staying active throughout the three trimesters.
Pippa emphasized how exercise helped her feel strong and adapt to the changes in her body.
