The Princess of Wales, Kate, shares a strong bond with her family, and this week holds special significance for her mother, Carol Middleton.
The businesswoman is set to mark her 69th birthday on Wednesday, January 31st.
However, it’s a bittersweet moment as Kate will be unable to partake in any grand family gatherings due to her recent recovery from stomach surgery.
Currently, the Princess has been in the hospital for two weeks at the London Clinic, with expectations of being discharged within the next couple of days.
Upon her release, she is anticipated to return to her residence in Windsor to focus on recuperation.
During this period, the Prince of Wales has taken a temporary hiatus from his public responsibilities to care for Kate and their three young children: Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and 5-year-old Prince Louis.
In Kate’s absence, Father William, along with their nanny, Maria Theresa Torrin Burillo, has been tending to the needs of George, Charlotte, and Louis.
Additionally, reports suggest that the children have found solace at the home of Carol and Michael Middleton in Bucklebury Berkshire while their mother undergoes treatment.
Members of the Middleton family have also made visits to the hospital to spend time with Kate during her stay.
The Princess has two siblings, Pippa Matthews and James Middleton, who have been a source of support during this challenging time.
Notably, in previous years, Kate and William have joined the Middletons on trips to the Caribbean island of Mustique to commemorate Carol’s birthday.
