It seems that there is some confusion surrounding the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
While it was widely believed that Archie was born on May 6th, 2019, some fans are now questioning whether this is indeed the case.
Recent footage of Meghan holding a baby at a polo match in July 2019 has led to speculation that Archie may not be a real child at all.
In the video, Meghan appears to be holding a baby who is at least four months old, possibly even six months old.
However, many royal fans have pointed out that there seems to be no parental connection between Meghan and the child.
She looks more like a newly hired babysitter or a happily child-free aunt meeting the baby for the first time.
Some have even suggested that the child is actually a lifelike doll.
One theory put forward by Royal Watcher Deanna Eppers-Encora is that Meghan wanted to distance herself from Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, which is why she and Harry never moved into Kensington Palace.
According to Eppers-Encora, Meghan feared that William and Catherine would notice if they didn’t hear a baby crying or if she removed her baby bump prosthetic.
This alleged tension between the two couples may explain why Catherine never acknowledged Meghan at the polo match they both attended.
The polo match itself raised eyebrows among onlookers.
People were shocked to see that the baby, presumed to be Archie, did not move throughout the entire event.
Meghan held the child in a strange and uncomfortable position, leading some to question whether she had ever held Archie before that day.
Unfortunately, most of the photos of the event were taken down by Meghan, but screenshots taken by eagle-eyed viewers show the perplexed expression on one man’s face as he observed Meghan and the baby.
Social media users have also joined in the speculation, suggesting that Meghan was merely acting out the role of motherhood and that the child she was holding was actually a dummy.
They point to the fact that the baby never moved in a natural way and appeared more like a doll than a living child.
One Twitter user sarcastically commented, “Hashtag acting like a mum.
I don’t know what I’d do without the real born dolls.”
Critics have also taken issue with Meghan’s handling of the baby.
They noticed that she cradled the child in an uncomfortable manner, which could explain why Archie did not resemble her own child.
Others questioned the lack of sun protection and proper nursing attire, as well as Meghan’s apparent lack of knowledge on how to hold a baby.
These conspiracy theories surrounding Archie’s birth gained traction when a YouTube channel called Daily Empress suggested that Archie may be a doll just three days after his birth.
The channel presented evidence, including the baby’s doll-like appearance and the fact that he did not move during a photo op with Prince Harry.
This further fueled speculation that Archie is not a real child.
In January 2020, Meghan was photographed taking a walk with Archie in a baby carrier.
However, she received criticism for the way she was using the carrier, with Archie seemingly hanging off to the side.
Concerned social media users urged Meghan to seek advice on safe baby wearing and ensure that Archie was properly supported.
The question remains: Is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor a real child or a lifelike doll?
