Kensington Palace has officially verified that Princess Kate will grace the men’s singles final clash between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon.

However, regrettably, she has opted to skip the women’s singles final set to feature Barbara Krejkova and Jasmine Pavlin on Saturday.

Known for her frequent attendance at Wimbledon following her marriage to Prince William, Princess Kate typically fulfills her role as the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club by presenting trophies to the victorious players.

This year, though, she had to step back from all royal obligations due to her health condition after receiving the cancer diagnosis.

Her most recent public appearance was noted during Trooping the Colour on June 15, where she exuded strength alongside her three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – during King Charles’ birthday parade.

In a twist of events, it seems that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not be seen together this weekend.

Prince William, who is slated to travel to Berlin to witness the intense face-off between England and Spain in the Euro 2024 championship, will be absent from Wimbledon’s grand finale.
