Newly released black and white photos of Meghan Markle during her first pregnancy have ignited a wave of skepticism and criticism from royal fans.
The pictures, taken in early 2019, show Meghan heavily pregnant in the couple’s Frogmore cottage in Windsor and walking in the garden of their Sussex estate.
In one of the snapshots, Meghan can be seen looking out of a window, her hand resting on her impressive moonbump.
The other photo captures her strolling in the garden, dressed in a dotted dress and a coat, with her hair tied up in a loose ponytail.
Her dog, Guy, accompanies her, along with one of the couple’s other pups.
However, social media users were quick to question the authenticity of Meghan’s baby bump.
One individual commented, “No one looks like that when they’re pregnant.
It’s all a farce.
She looks ridiculous, like a beach ball.”
Another person suggested that the staged photos were made to look candid, stating, “Make a staged photo into a black and white candid photo and voila, it still looks fake.”
Critics also accused Meghan of using a fake belly or moonbump throughout her pregnancy.
One user shared, “Meghan thinks all of us are stupid to believe she was pregnant post-marriage to Harry.
It looks like she’s hiding a balloon or football under that dress.”
Another user examined the photos closely, claiming that the dress appeared transparent and the shape of the bump was unnatural.
While the controversy surrounding the pregnancy photos continues to swirl, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently reflected on their time living in Nottingham Cottage, their first home as a married couple.
In the fourth episode of their Netflix series, the Duke and Duchess described the cottage as a chapter in their lives that held surprises behind the scenes.
However, royal watchers were quick to point out that Nottingham Cottage had notable occupants before the Sussexes.
Historian Marlene Koenig highlighted that Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their son Prince George had lived there, along with other members of the royal family.
The comments made by Prince Harry, claiming he didn’t know who lived in the cottage before him, raised eyebrows among fans.
One Twitter user sarcastically remarked, “Imagine complaining that Nottingham Cottage is small and doesn’t fit you when Prince William, who’s the tallest member of the royal family, lived there with his wife and Prince George for quite a long time.”
Another user playfully added, “Harry claims he doesn’t know who lived in Nottingham Cottage before him, but they must have been short because the ceilings are so low.
Ah, yeah, super short William and Kate.”
As the debate over Meghan’s pregnancy photos and the history of Nottingham Cottage continues, it seems that every aspect of the royal couple’s life is under intense scrutiny.
Only time will tell how these controversies will shape public perception of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
