Over the past months, there has been growing worry regarding the 96-year-old monarch’s well-being, leading to her withdrawal from various official and private engagements.

While Prince William joined the rest of the senior royals in rushing to Balmoral, Kate Middleton remained in Windsor due to it being the children’s first day at school.

Kensington Palace released a statement confirming that the Duchess of Cambridge stayed behind with the children as they embarked on their first full day at their new school.

Meanwhile, the Queen’s four children, along with Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, all made their way to Balmoral.

The news of the Queen’s health concerns was initially announced by her doctors today, prompting the statement from Kensington Palace.

The statement revealed that after further evaluation, the Queen’s doctors expressed concern for her health and recommended that she receive medical supervision.

Although the Queen is currently comfortable and at Balmoral, her health situation has led to her withdrawal from a virtual Privy Council meeting on Wednesday.

This occurred just a day after she appointed Liz Truss as Prime Minister at her residence in the Scottish Highlands.

Despite using a walking stick during her meeting with the new Prime Minister, the monarch appeared bright and in good spirits.
