In a heartwarming display of support, Prince William was seen offering comfort to his wife, Kate Middleton, as they departed from the Queen’s lying in state at Westminster Hall.
The Queen’s body will remain at Westminster Hall until Monday, allowing members of the public to pay their respects to Her Majesty.
Following a service at Westminster Hall, Prince Charles placed a reassuring hand on Kate Middleton’s back as they paid their final respects to the Queen.
The Princess of Wales was also observed curtsying towards the Queen during her last journey before the funeral on September 19th.
This afternoon, the late monarch’s coffin left Buckingham Palace for the last time, with the King and the Royal Family walking behind in a procession to the lying in state.
The Queen’s coffin will be on display at Westminster Hall until Monday, and Prince William and Prince Harry will be part of the procession this afternoon.
As the coffin was carried to Westminster Hall, the Queen’s family marched behind, while thousands of Brits lined the route in the heart of the capital to bid their farewell.
Kate, however, did not join the procession but instead traveled to Westminster Palace by car.
She was followed by another vehicle carrying the Duchess of Sussex and the Countess of Wessex.
King Charles III walked alongside his siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.
Behind the King were the Queen’s grandsons, Peter Phillips, Prince Harry, and Prince William.
They were followed by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence, the Duke of Gloucester, the Queen’s cousin, and her nephew, the Earl of Snowdon.
During the service, Prince William and Prince Harry stood side by side with their wives, Kate and Meghan Markle, setting aside their differences to honor their grandmother.
The Sussexes positioned themselves at the back of the group of royals, with Harry and Meghan standing behind Kate and William.
