Prince Harry has recently released a video that pokes fun at his royal status, coinciding with King Charles’ speech for the opening of Parliament and Prince William’s earthshot ceremony in Singapore.
The video, filmed at his Montecito home, serves as a promotion for Stand Up For Heroes, a comedy event.
In this monologue, Harry humorously addresses being ginger and living under the spotlight.
During the video, Harry can be seen wearing four military medals and a poppy as he speaks from his Montecito residence.
One of the medals is an Afghanistan campaign medal from his time in the army, while the other three were bestowed upon him by his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
It is worth noting that only one of the medals is a service medal, while the rest are Jubilee medals.
Harry explains that he wears them because he was instructed to do so.
This raises the question: Why is he wearing his medals and a poppy in the USA?
It is important to remember that the Queen removed his honorary military titles, and he did not serve long enough to retire with full honors that would have permitted him to keep them.
Therefore, he had to reach a certain rank.
Critics argue that Meghan and Harry’s attempt to divert attention from William and the King through strategic drops and leaks is nothing more than a farce.
To employ remembrance and the poppy appeal as a weapon against the King and Prince William is viewed as a despicable act.
In his new video, Harry not only mocks his royal status but also addresses some of the public criticism he has faced in the media.
He even jokes about the effort he put into creating the act.
“As someone who never gets scrutinized, I haven’t even had to prepare much,” he quips during his speech.
He further adds, “But I’ve been working on this particular act for quite some time.”
According to reports, Harry asserts that everyone he knows tells him it’s perfect, emphasizing that these are not just people who tell him what he wants to hear.
Aside from poking fun at his royal status, Harry also jokes about himself and the endangered species status of people with ginger hair, including himself.
The video includes gags such as someone off-camera handing him a speech to keep him on script and references to his new life with his family in California, highlighting the lack of scrutiny he now experiences.
Interestingly, the video was released online just before King Charles III was scheduled to deliver his first King’s speech at the state opening of the British Parliament in London.
Critics argue that this release was part of the Harkle strategy, aiming to establish a royal presence in America while deliberately creating leaks and announcements to divert attention from the monarchy’s work.
However, this strategy is viewed as pathetically ineffective.
While the King’s address to Parliament exudes dignity and royalty, Harry’s attempts at humor come across as ridiculous and unfunny.
Harry’s malicious intentions towards his father and brother are evident, yet he only manages to tarnish his own image in the process.
