Meghan Markle, along with her trusted friend Marcus Anderson, enjoyed a night out at the Rogers Arena on Monday to support the Vancouver Canucks.
Marcus, often referred to as Mr Soho House and considered one of Meghan’s closest confidants, played a significant role in bringing Meghan and Harry together.
Opting for a more casual look, Marcus donned a green woolen jacket and jeans as he sat beside Meghan to watch the hockey match.
The royal couple’s presence at the game was part of their work to promote the upcoming Invictus Games, scheduled to take place in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025.
It seems fitting that Marcus joined them, as he was by Meghan’s side during her first public appearance with Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto back in 2017.
However, Prince Harry seemed displeased with Marcus’ attendance.
Throughout the Canucks game, he appeared to ignore Meghan, particularly when Marcus accidentally mentioned a story about Meghan’s alleged involvement with multiple hockey players.
Coincidentally, Meghan and Harry were watching a hockey match, which may have triggered Harry’s frustration.
Meghan has had previous connections with the world of ice hockey.
Her marriage to Trevor ended after she grew close to Canadian ice hockey star Michael Del Zotto, who played for the New York Rangers.
In April 2013, Meghan shared pictures of them together after attending several of his games.
However, their relationship didn’t last, as Del Zotto, who was ten years younger than Meghan, wasn’t interested in pursuing a serious romance.
Del Zotto wasn’t the only hockey player Meghan had a connection with.
Another Canadian professional ice hockey player, Peter Holland, also fell under Meghan’s spell.
Meghan used a damsel in distress narrative to attract unsuspecting men, even while she was still married to Trevor.
Peter Holland once tweeted to Meghan, expressing his disappointment upon discovering her marital status.
It seems Meghan had a knack for captivating men who were unaware of her relationship status.
During the Canucks game, Marcus playfully asked Meghan if she remembered some hot hockey players, which seemingly irked Harry.
It appears that Harry was frustrated by the past incidents where Meghan was associated with the term “puck bunny” during her time in Toronto.
There have been claims that Meghan pretended to have an interest in sports.
However, Harry knew that her enthusiasm for hockey was superficial and that she lacked genuine knowledge about the game beyond the players’ salaries.
Before marrying Harry, Meghan attempted to establish herself as a “wag” and befriend individuals like Millie McIntosh from the reality show Made in Chelsea.
However, their friendship eventually fizzled out.
Meghan’s pursuit of wealthy suitors extended beyond the world of hockey.
She allegedly tried to pursue Ashley Cole, who showed no interest, and had a brief fling with golfer Rory McIlroy.
After facing challenges in Hollywood and Toronto, Meghan then turned her attention to England in search of a wealthy partner.
