In a surprising turn of events, it has been revealed that the topic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is strictly off-limits for royal family members this Christmas.
Any discussion related to the couple is expected to end in tears, as journalist Adam Helker claimed.
The royal family is keen on avoiding any conversation about the Duke and Duchess during their Christmas celebrations.
Instead, they hope to present a united front and ignore the claims made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their bombshell Netflix docuseries.
While the royal family plans to maintain a dignified silence, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to have spent Christmas Day privately in their Montecito home.
Surprisingly, they have not released any messages or responded to the king’s speech.
Commentator Richard Eden predicts that explosions may follow this snub from the Sussexes.
He wrote on Twitter, “Stand by for more explosions in Montecito.”
King Charles, in his first Christmas broadcast, did not mention Prince Harry and Meghan once.
Furthermore, clips shown during his speech did not include the Sussexes.
The king focused on helping people in need and highlighted the work of the Prince and Princess of Wales during their visit to a community hub in Swansea.
Other working royals, including Queen Camilla, the Wessexes, and Princess Anne, were shown carrying out their royal duties in clips towards the end of the broadcast.
Mixed reactions followed commentator Richard Eden’s take on the king’s speech.
One Twitter user praised the speech, saying, “A lovely speech focusing on the right people – emergency services and all faiths.
Hit the right quote with empathy.”
However, the Queen’s former spokesperson, Nick Arbiter, dismissed the speech as “rubbish.”
Adding fuel to the fire, just a few days after the debut of their second half of the personal Harry and Meghan Netflix series, it was announced that the Sussexes have another project in the works.
Titled “Live to Lead,” this program will feature interviews with various personalities known for their public work and campaigning, such as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and climate crisis activist Greta Thunberg.
While the seven-episode release by the Sussexes is expected to focus solely on outstanding leaders, Buckingham Palace needs to prepare for the release of the Duke’s memoir on January 10th.
Speculation suggests that the memoir may include criticism of King Charles for his role in Harry’s upbringing.
If the Duke’s declarations during the Apple TV series “The Me You Can’t See” are any indication, the book will cover Harry’s entire life in the public eye, from childhood to fatherhood, and shed light on the grief he experienced after his mother’s death.
The question on everyone’s mind is whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing another massive bombshell for the royal family.
