Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is facing both a stalker and copycat problem as she becomes increasingly obsessed with emulating the success of A-list celebrities Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Witherspoon is known for her company Hello Sunshine Productions, while Paltrow has made a name for herself with Goop.
Raw News Network pointed out on Twitter that both actresses go to great lengths to avoid Meghan, unlike her husband Prince Harry, who seems to think very highly of her.
The reason behind this avoidance is clear – Meghan is attempting to force her way into their circles without putting in the necessary work to earn her place.
Both Reese and Gwyneth have worked tirelessly to establish themselves in the industry, winning Academy Awards and building successful businesses.
Reese, in particular, started Hello Sunshine during a career slump and has since produced and adapted numerous well-known novels into successful films and television series, including “Gone Girl” and “Big Little Lies.”
In contrast, Meghan tried to replicate Gwyneth Paltrow’s success with Goop through her website, The Tig.
However, Goop’s success can be attributed to its meaningful name.
In an old article by USA Today, Paltrow explained that she chose the name Goop because it comes from her initials, GP.
Additionally, a friend pointed out to her that successful online businesses often have double O’s in their names, like Google.
On the other hand, The Tig holds no significance to anyone but Meghan herself.
It simply does not resonate with a wider audience.
Meghan’s ambition to become a successful television producer like Reese is unlikely to come to fruition.
Reese has been involved in producing since 2003, starting with “Legally Blonde 2: Red White and Blonde.”
She has consistently taken on executive producer and producer roles in her projects, gradually building her expertise.
Meghan, however, showed no interest in producing while she was an actress on “Suits.”
She only contributed ideas to her character’s wardrobe and requested fewer s** scenes.
In contrast, two of her co-stars, Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams, took on producing and directing roles on the show.
Furthermore, Meghan’s attempt to invite Reese to her wedding was met with rejection.
Reese declined the invitation, stating that she didn’t know them well enough to attend.
This highlights the fact that Meghan lacks genuine connections with these successful individuals and is merely seeking to ride their coattails.
In conclusion, Meghan’s thirst for fame and success is crumbling because she lacks originality and has not put in the necessary effort to establish herself.
The Tig, her former website, was relatively unknown outside of the “Suits” fandom, and her involvement in producing and directing remains questionable.
While she may have had some success as an executive producer on the show “Archetypes,” podcasting is a different ballgame altogether.
Meghan’s inability to adapt and acquire new skills may hinder her chances of achieving the level of success she desires.
