Lady Colin Campbell, in an exclusive interview with GB News, has criticized Meghan Markle following the release of her and Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary.

Campbell dubbed Meghan as a racist and shed light on the controversy surrounding the family’s portrayal on the crown.

Campbell insists that Brits embraced the Duchess of Sussex when she was first introduced to the world as Harry’s partner.

However, Meghan claimed there was a significant level of unconscious bias within the royal family.

This claim comes 18 months after Harry and Meghan, the first mixed-race members of the modern monarchy, accused the institution of being racist and uncaring during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In the second episode of their documentary, Harry and Meghan examined some of the headlines in the UK tabloid press, which were released just before Kensington Palace issued a statement regarding the media’s treatment of the Duchess of Sussex.

One headline read, “Harry’s girl is almost straight out of Compton.”

Meghan responded, stating that she is not from Compton and never lived there, questioning why there was a need to make a dig at Compton.

Another headline mentioned Meghan’s ancestors being a tailor, a teacher, and a cleaner in a racially divided Jim Crow South.

Harry revealed that eight days after their relationship became public, he called out the racist undertones in the articles and headlines written by the British press, as well as the outright racism displayed on social media.

However, when members of the royal family questioned the newspaper headlines about Meghan, the palace directed them not to say anything.

Harry emphasized that the difference in Meghan’s case was the race element.

Responding to Meghan’s claim, Lady C expressed her confusion as to why British people were being blamed, especially since they had embraced Meghan as a woman of color.

Campbell added that Meghan objected to being acknowledged for her racial background.
