Prince Harry’s recent trip to Singapore proved to be a disappointment as 260 people returned their tickets for a charity polo match.
The event, in which Harry played for the Royal Salute Centrebell team against the Singapore Polo Club team, ended in a 7-7 draw.
However, it was not the game itself that caught attention but rather Harry’s demeanor throughout the event.
After the match, Harry was seen walking alone and appeared unsure of what to do.
Body language professional Judy James analyzed his behavior and suggested that the Duke may have felt awkward and ignored without the adoring gaze of his wife, Meghan, who remained in Montecito during his solo trip.
James added that Harry’s reluctance to share the trophy with his team, despite their communal effort, indicated a possible discomfort in his new role.
Harry’s interaction with his close friend, Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, also raised eyebrows.
The handshake followed by a friendly hug between the two men seemed to display their friendship and machismo.
However, they failed to impress the women present, who were seen ignoring them and engrossed in their phones.
James concluded that Harry must adjust to being treated differently now that he no longer holds his royal status.
Lady C, a prominent figure known for her candid opinions, expressed her disappointment with Harry’s behavior at the Polo Awards.
She described his actions as “childish and unseemly” and claimed that 260 tickets were returned, indicating a lack of interest and support from the public.
Lady C further commented on Harry’s past, stating that he has always had a playboy image and questioning his dedication to charitable work.
Looking ahead, Prince William is expected to visit Singapore on November 7th for the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony.
While both brothers share a love for polo and have utilized the sport for fundraising purposes, recent differences have kept them apart.
The last time they were seen together was during their father King Charles’s coronation in London on May 6th, where Prince William participated in the service at Westminster Abbey while Prince Harry returned to the US shortly after.
Despite the setback in Singapore, Harry continues to work towards his charitable endeavors through Centrebell.
While some may criticize him, Lady C refrains from casting stones and acknowledges his efforts.
It remains to be seen how Harry will navigate his new role and find success outside of his royal status.
