Prince Harry has received a stern warning from his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William.

They are no longer willing to accept his status as a part-time royal.

Despite losing their HRH titles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.

However, there is a growing demand for them to be stripped of these titles, as indicated by recent polls.

The release of Harry’s best-selling memoir, “Spare,” in January only intensified these calls.

Tom Quinn, author of “Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family,” sheds light on the dissatisfaction within the royal family.

He explains that King Charles and Prince William share the late Queen’s firm belief that being a part-time royal is unacceptable.

They do not approve of Harry hobnobbing with celebrities in America for six months and then selectively choosing which events to be a part of upon his return.

Queen Elizabeth herself despised this idea, as she dedicated her entire life to serving the monarchy.

Apart from disappointing his grandmother, Harry also risks bringing the American way of doing things into the royal family.

Mr. Quinn argues that this could be a potential concern.

Interestingly, even Americans seem to have little appetite for Harry and Meghan to retain their titles.

According to a poll conducted for Newsweek, only 26% of respondents were in favor of their titles remaining unchanged, while 28% were unsure whether the King should take steps to strip them of their titles.

This marks a significant shift compared to an earlier poll in December, where 43% of respondents wanted them to remain as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Following the release of “Spare,” Harry and Meghan have announced their involvement in various new projects, including a venture into the movie business.

However, it remains to be seen whether this tension between the royal family and the Sussexes can be sustained.

The future of their titles hangs in the balance.
