The annual tradition of hosting a carol concert in Westminster Abbey, led by the Princess of Wales, has brought joy to fans over the Christmas period once again.
This year, Kate’s carol concert will mark its third year, with the Princess herself hosting the event on December 8th.
The concert will be dedicated to honoring those who work tirelessly to support babies, young children, and families across the United Kingdom.
Additionally, it will celebrate the significance of new life and the importance of creating nurturing environments for children and adults alike.
In alignment with the Princess’s Shaping Us campaign, which was launched in January 2023, this year’s event aims to highlight the hope that comes with the arrival of a new baby.
The concert will feature performances by the renowned Westminster Choir, enchanting audiences with beloved carols.
Notably, the event will also include special appearances by acclaimed artists such as Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, and James Bay.
To ensure a diverse and inspiring audience, Lord Lieutenants from various regions across the nation have nominated exceptional individuals, including midwives, health visitors, early years practitioners, nursery teachers, and community volunteers, to attend the concert alongside members of the royal family.
Adam Lambert, the well-known American singer-songwriter and actor, expressed his excitement about being part of Catherine, the Princess of Wales’ Christmas Carol Service on December 8th.
In response to Kate Middleton’s announcement on Twitter, Lambert tweeted, “I’m so proud to be a part of the Princess of Wales’ 2023 Together at Christmas Carol Service with Early Childhood on December 8th.
Thank you for having me, Kensington Royal.”
Lambert’s previous performance at the Palace for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee received immense praise.
Notably absent from the event were Prince Harry, his wife, and their children.
Lambert’s popularity in the UK has soared due to his collaboration with Queen during their tours.
However, it is worth noting that he has previously criticized Meghan Markle for her rude behavior.
Lambert witnessed Meghan attempting to gatecrash a private event in Los Angeles, where A-listers were keen to avoid the paparazzi.
Meghan’s attempt to divert attention from the Christmas event by releasing pictures of herself at a Costco in flip-flops and a tube top did not go unnoticed.
Lambert humorously remarked that this particular paparazzi shoot could be the one to finally bring down the royal family, emphasizing Meghan’s desperation.
Despite Meghan’s actions, Kate continues to grace the front cover of People magazine, praised for her beauty and commendable work.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s staged paparazzi shots only manage to secure a small corner on page 40 of a random tabloid, among other celebrities engaging in mundane activities.
The Together at Christmas Carol event is produced by ITV, giving them some influence over the proceedings.
It is possible that they are looking to expand their reach into the US market.
If the Princess of Wales’ concert is broadcast in Montecito, California, where Meghan and Harry reside, it seems inevitable and beyond control.
