Despite being in the US, Prince Harry is determined to introduce Archie, Forf, and Lilibet to British traditions this Christmas, according to royal expert Katie Nicholl.
While the family won’t be able to replicate the full royal Christmas experience, Nicholl believes that Harry will do his best to create a British atmosphere for his children.
She acknowledged that there are moments when Harry must feel homesick, as California is a world away from Britain and its traditional Christmas celebrations.
However, she suspects that they will incorporate many British traditions into their festive celebrations, just as we’ve seen Harry dressing the tree with Archie.
Nevertheless, it’s important to note that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not received an invitation to spend Christmas with the royal family, as reported by GBNews.
A source close to Harry and Meghan confirmed that they won’t be joining the royals in the UK for the festive period.
This unfortunate situation may be attributed to King Charles’s decision to evict the couple from Frogmore Cottage earlier this year, as explained by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.
He stated that, due to their lack of a base in Britain, it is highly unlikely for Harry and Meghan to return for Christmas.
The rift between the couple and the royal family has reached a point where such a possibility seems out of reach at the moment.
Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t have the traditional royal Christmas experience at Sandringham, they will make the most of their time in California to create a British Christmas atmosphere for their children.
While they won’t be surrounded by the royal family, Harry and Meghan are determined to ensure that Archie and Lilibet are familiar with their father’s heritage and the customs he grew up with.
