Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing a series of setbacks that have left their empire crumbling, according to experts.
The Duchess of Sussex’s podcast was recently scrapped by Spotify after just one series, and their request to trademark its name was denied by the US Patent Office.
Additionally, there are rumors that Netflix may not renew their contract.
With all these blows, the couple seems to be on the ropes.
Renowned commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes that the Sussexes are merely waiting for the right moment to make a comeback.
However, this speculation is unlikely to materialize as Meghan’s talent agency, WME, has decided to drop her.
In another blow, it appears that the house she was staying at in San Ysidro Ranch has also been revoked.
Meghan’s tendency to pay a substantial amount of money to agencies like WME and Sunshine Sachs, only to then go her own way, seems to be causing issues.
The reason behind Ari Emanuel’s decision to sever ties with Meghan is that he cannot fix her tarnished brand.
He cannot make her disappear and lay low for a few years, which is the only way some people will forget their disdain for her.
Meghan’s narcissism prevents her from stepping out of the spotlight.
Previously, it was revealed that Meghan was living in a cottage-style hotel suite in San Ysidro, across from a WME office, thanks to an agreement between the company and Lauren Sanchez, who is close to a source at the agency.
However, after experiencing difficulties working with Meghan, Ari grew tired of her and decided to kick her to the curb, revoking her ownership of the house.
Ari Emanuel is no fool.
He allowed Meghan to join WME purely for his own benefit.
Before their association, not many people outside of Hollywood circles knew his name or the name of his agency.
But now, thanks to his connection with Meghan, his profile has skyrocketed.
When her star fades, he will likely ghost her, just as she does with others.
In a new video, Lady C claims that Spotify has dumped Meghan and Netflix is likely to follow suit.
It seems that Ari Emanuel is not happy with Meghan either.
She went behind his back and reached out to Dior, hoping to strike a deal.
This is plausible, considering Meghan and Harry have been known to wear Dior on various occasions.
However, Dior wasn’t interested.
To make matters worse, Meghan leaked the information to the press, leaving Ari Emanuel displeased.
WME no longer wishes to represent her.
Adding insult to injury, recent polling shows that Meghan Markle’s popularity has hit an all-time low.
Seven out of ten Britons now hold a negative view of her.
Her favorability rating has plummeted to a record low of minus 47, the lowest since YouGov began recording in 2017.
Similarly, public opinion of Prince Harry has fallen to minus 36, a slight decrease from April.
However, this is an improvement from January when it stood at minus 44.
In Meghan’s case, 68% of respondents expressed a very negative view of her, while only 21% had a positive view, leaving 11% unsure.
As Meghan and Harry face these mounting challenges, it remains to be seen how they will navigate the storm and attempt to rebuild their empire.
One thing is for sure: the road ahead will not be easy.
