Elton John captivated a massive crowd at Glastonbury on Sunday night, possibly marking his final show in Britain.
While loyal fans were delighted by the performance, others were left disappointed as they had hoped for star guest appearances.
Among the notable attendees were Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney, who joined in the festivities.
The concert was live-streamed worldwide and featured a heartfelt video message from Prince Harry, who paid tribute to Elton.
In the video, Harry commended the star for entertaining audiences for decades and expressed gratitude for being a friend to his late mother.
Although some fans were excited by the video, it was met with boos from the majority of the Glastonbury crowd.
Interestingly, Princess Beatrice and her husband Eduardo Mothly-Mosey were seen leaving Elton’s concert immediately after Harry’s video was displayed on the concert stage.
This situation appeared to be quite awkward, as it seemed that Beatrice wanted to avoid any involvement with Harry or potential interviews with reporters.
Earlier in the day, Beatrice had been spotted greeting her friends at the Glastonbury Festival.
She and Eduardo arrived on Sunday afternoon, coinciding with Sir Elton John’s headline performance.
Beatrice looked stunning in a black top, black skirt, and white Adidas trainers, choosing comfort amidst the scorching heat.
She was seen smiling as she embraced a friend before heading towards the left field area.
This was not Beatrice’s first time attending the festival; she had also been present last year.
Additionally, she is not the only royal to have experienced the magic of Worthy Farm.
Her sister, Princess Eugenie, has attended in the past, and their cousin Prince Harry made an appearance with his then-girlfriend Christina Bonas back in 2013.
In 2010, Prince Charles, who was then the Prince of Wales, toured the festival site alongside founder Michael Eavis.
He even took to the pyramid stage, waving to music fans and meeting the behind-the-scenes team.
It has been a busy week for Beatrice, who recently joined her cousins, the Prince and Princess of Wales, at Royal Ascot.
On Friday, she and Eduardo shared a carriage with the couple, coinciding with Prince William’s 41st birthday celebration.
Beatrice and Catherine paid a sweet tribute to Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson through their outfit choices, with Kate stunning in a bold red ensemble.
Beatrice, on the other hand, donned an equally fabulous white floral lace dress designed by Monique Llewella.
However, before the news broke, Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, revealed that she had been treated for breast cancer.
In a statement, a spokesperson confirmed that Sarah, the Duchess of York, had been diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer detected during a routine mammogram screening.
Fortunately, the Duchess shared that she was recovering well.
