Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez threw an extravagant Christmas party in Beverly Hills, but it seems that not everyone made the guest list.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were notably absent from the star-studded event, which featured esteemed guests such as Margot Robbie and Michael B. Jordan.
The couple hosted the holiday bash at their Beverly Hills home on Saturday night, creating a magical atmosphere for their A-list pals.
According to a source close to the couple, the party was a huge success, with guests including Ben’s brother Casey Affleck, Lily Rabe, and JLo’s manager Benny Medina.
The highlight of the evening was seeing the kids, who were all there, dancing and having a great time.
Although Ben and Jennifer weren’t seen together much during the party, they were both busy catching up with friends and playing the role of gracious hosts.
“They were both in such good spirits,” the insider added.
Jennifer Lopez looked stunning in a strapless dress as she entertained the guests by belting out classic Christmas carols such as “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “Jingle Bells.”
Videos shared on Instagram showed Lopez encouraging everyone to sing along while she crooned into a microphone.
Interestingly, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not invited to the Beverly Hills Christmas party.
Rumors suggest that Jennifer Lopez declined Meghan’s attempts to establish a friendship, possibly due to Meghan’s association with Jennifer’s long-time rival, Mariah Carey, during a podcast series called Archetypes.
According to broadcaster, comedian, and actor Tim Dillon, Meghan is perceived by some as a second-tier reality star rather than a renowned actress.
He believes that Meghan and Harry’s desire to mingle with celebrities stems from their own perception of themselves as celebrities.
However, their efforts to integrate into the Hollywood elite have been met with varying degrees of success and resistance, leaving them somewhat on the outskirts of the industry.
In an attempt to solve their problems and escape the monotony of their secluded mansion, Meghan and Harry are reportedly looking to buy a smaller home in Hollywood.
However, insiders suggest that it is Meghan, rather than Harry, who is driving this decision.
The question remains: will a new home truly solve all their problems?
This is not the first time Meghan has sought a change of scenery to find happiness.
Previously, she convinced Harry to leave their royal duties and move to a California mansion, only to realize that it didn’t fulfill her dreams.
Now, the bright lights of Hollywood have dazzled Meghan into believing that uprooting their family for Tinseltown will solve everything.
However, some insiders observe that Meghan and Harry have a pattern of thinking that moving will solve all their problems.
“Every time things get bad for Harry and Meghan, they want to move.
It’s their MO,” one source revealed.
Unfortunately, it often leads to the same drama in a different location.
Despite the skepticism, friends and family believe that a move to LA could actually be beneficial for the couple.
Only time will tell if a change of scenery will bring the happiness and fulfillment they seek.
