In a surprising turn of events, Beyonce invited everyone in Hollywood to her film premiere, except for Meghan Markle.
However, Taylor Swift, who had previously declined Meghan’s invitation to appear on a podcast, attended the London premiere of Beyonce’s Renaissance alongside her close friend Blake Lively.
Taylor Swift took to social media to share a picture of herself sitting on a couch in front of Blake Lively, with their hands placed suggestively on each other’s shoulders and thighs.
This picture caused quite a stir among Swifties, as they were already upset with Meghan’s representative Omid Scobie for claiming that Taylor had turned down an invitation to King Charles’ coronation.
Omid Scobie, a royal biographer, made this claim in his latest book, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.”
However, Swifties were quick to criticize Scobie for making such claims, as Taylor was actually in the midst of a sold-out tour in America at the time.
She even performed a concert in Nashville, Tennessee on the same day as the alleged coronation invitation.
Fans also couldn’t help but take a jab at Scobie for revealing that Taylor had previously turned down Meghan Markle’s handwritten offer to appear on a podcast.
While Taylor enjoyed the London premiere of Beyonce’s film, her friend Ryan Reynolds decided to playfully troll her by posting a photoshopped version of their recent picture together.
In this edited image, Reynolds replaced Taylor’s face with his own and his spouse’s face with Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelcey’s.
But Reynolds wasn’t the only one joining in on the fun.
Hugh Jackman and Rob McElhenney also hopped on the bandwagon, sharing their own versions of the edited photo on social media.
The contagious hilarity continued as more and more celebrities joined in on the face-swapping trend.
While all this was happening, Meghan Markle must have been feeling left out in Montecito.
Even though she is considered a celebrity in her own right, her agent couldn’t secure an invitation to Beyonce’s premiere for her.
It seems that even in Hollywood, there are hierarchies and exclusions.
Ryan Reynolds, known not only for his acting skills but also for his legendary dad jokes on social media, has once again used his influence to playfully troll Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This time, Reynolds, along with his wife and Hugh Jackman, poked fun at the couple for strolling around New York City without security.
This isn’t the first time that Reynolds has trolled the Sussexes.
When Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, Reynolds responded with a tweet, jokingly saying that Canadians were excited about the possibility of the couple relocating to Canada and bringing some “Razzle Dazzle” to the country.
Ryan Reynolds, a Vancouver native, has become one of the most powerful influencers today, thanks to his witty humor and social media presence.
And it seems that he has found a new target in the Runaway Royals, Harry and Meghan.
