A replica of the renowned artwork “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love,” which Prince Harry acquired for a special individual in October 2016, just before revealing his relationship with Meghan Markle, is now up for sale at $262, according to a reliable source.
Meghan played a pivotal role in persuading Harry to make the purchase.
Crafted by the emerging British artist known as Van Donner, a pseudonym blending Van Gogh and Madonna, the piece showcases a Banksy-inspired stencil portraying a boy and girl walking hand in hand into the horizon.
Accompanying the main canvas is a secondary one bearing the phrase “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love.”
Van Donner’s distinctive style has garnered admiration from various celebrities, including Brad Pitt, who also possesses a similar artwork featuring the Sussexes in his antique manor.
The exact date of acquisition for the painting remains undisclosed.
Originally, Harry procured the piece from the exclusive VIP section of Walton Fine Arts Gallery in Kensington, London, a venue frequented by notable clientele such as Adele, Ringo Starr, and Brad Pitt.
Interestingly, upon the unauthorized release of initial images of the Montecito mansion, sourced from the Sussexes’ ongoing legal battles and the Duchess’s virtual interactions, it was noted that several artworks adorning the walls and even select furniture items were sourced from Brad Pitt’s art collection.
Pitt has dedicated substantial off-screen time to establishing his reputation in the applied arts domain, overseeing the creation of numerous limited-edition pieces including a bed, club chairs, dining tables, and more, to be showcased alongside bespoke items by Polaro Custom Furniture at a forthcoming exhibition in New York.
In a notable event from 2020, Lazaridis Gallery in London hosted a special auction featuring works by the elusive artist Banksy, reflecting Pitt’s enduring association with the street art icon.
Meghan and Harry have also acquired some of Banksy’s creations through their connection with Pitt.
Pitt’s interest in the art world extends to visits to galleries like Spruth Magers in Berlin, where exhibitions showcasing Ed Ruschka’s works, notably featuring drawings of abandoned mattresses in LA, have captured his attention.
Coincidentally, Meghan expressed similar sentiments in a now-defunct blog, reminiscing about conversations with friends envisioning roles alongside Hollywood luminaries like Brad Pitt and George Clooney, whom they all harbored crushes on.
Reports from a close source to New Idea suggest that during a period when Brad Pitt was undergoing a divorce from Jennifer Aniston, Meghan Markle openly contemplated becoming the next Mrs. Pitt, despite Angelina Jolie’s presence in the picture.
Fast forward to the present, with Meghan’s return to Los Angeles, rumors circulate that she is eager to arrange a meeting with Brad Pitt once more.
Allegedly, she has been persistently contacting Pitt’s associates at Plan B Entertainment since her arrival in LA, driven by her ambition to collaborate with the acclaimed actor in a cinematic venture.
Known for her unwavering determination in pursuit of her goals, Meghan has been enlisting the help of mutual acquaintance George Clooney to facilitate a casual yet professional dinner rendezvous with Brad Pitt, aiming to discuss potential collaborative projects.
