The upcoming host of the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, Cedric the Entertainer, has stirred up controversy by publicly condemning the Netflix docuseries “Heart of Invictus,” which focuses on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The comedian and actor expressed his belief that the show, which follows the stories of wounded veterans participating in the Invictus Games, is shamelessly aiming to garner sympathy from the public and critics, and therefore does not deserve a nomination for the prestigious awards.

During a press conference held prior to the Golden Globe ceremony scheduled for January 8, 2023, Cedric the Entertainer shared his thoughts on the matter.

He revealed that he had watched the first episode of the docuseries, released on Netflix in November 2022, and was appalled by Meghan Markle’s portrayal of herself as a victim of the royal family and media.

Cedric described her as constantly complaining about the difficulties she faced, including bullying, harassment, having to leave the country, feeling suicidal, experiencing racial discrimination, and more.

He criticized her for making it seem as though she were the sole sufferer, while the veterans who had lost limbs, sight, hearing, mental health, families, careers, dignity, and hope were merely props for her to display false compassion and generosity.

Expressing his disgust, Cedric the Entertainer also criticized Prince Harry for supporting his wife’s narcissistic agenda, accusing him of betraying his country, family, and comrades.

He lamented that instead of fulfilling his roles as a prince, soldier, leader, and role model, Prince Harry had become a puppet, traitor, coward, and sellout.

Cedric believed that Prince Harry had forsaken his duty, honor, heritage, and legacy all for a woman who had used him to acquire fame, money, and power, without caring about anyone else.

Cedric the Entertainer expressed his outrage that the Netflix docuseries had been submitted for consideration at the Golden Globes.

He personally ensured its removal from the nominations and claimed to have the support of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organization responsible for the awards.

According to him, they agreed that the show lacked artistic excellence, creative vision, and social impact, which are qualities the Golden Globes aim to celebrate.

Cedric hoped that the public and critics would see through Meghan Markle’s lies and manipulations, urging them to boycott her and her husband’s propaganda.

However, he made it clear that his respect for the veterans who participated in the Invictus Games remained unwavering.

He commended their courage and resilience, wishing them all the best in finding peace and happiness in their lives.
