Prince Louis, the youngest Cambridge Prince, has turned four and celebrated his special day with a joyful beach outing.
Adorable new pictures have been released, showing the young prince grinning from ear to ear as he plays barefoot on the sandy shores.
The photos, taken by his mother, Kate, earlier this month near their Norfolk retreat, Anmer Hall, capture Louis’ infectious happiness with the beautiful eastern coastline in the background.
Anmer Hall, a 10-bedroom country estate, is located near Holcombe Beach, just a stone’s throw away from the Queen’s residence at Sandringham.
In these delightful snapshots, many have noticed a resemblance to Louis’ paternal grandfather, Michael, particularly highlighting the Middleton side of the family.
Sporting a grey star-print jumper, the young prince is believed to have celebrated his birthday surrounded by loved ones.
Born in 2018 at St Mary’s Hospital in London, Prince Louis is still considered too young to attend certain royal family events alongside his elder siblings, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 6.
However, he made his first public appearance during the Queen’s official birthday celebration in 2019.
Prince William proudly held him on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as the senior royals observed the Trooping the Colour parade.
Later that year, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, accompanied young Louis to Wokingham, where Prince William participated in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day.
Reflecting the family’s passion for sports, it was revealed that Louis adores playing rugby.
During Kate’s royal patronage of the Rugby Football Union, she shared with professional players at Twickenham that Louis particularly enjoys getting involved in the game.
She amusingly described him as “kamikaze,” adding that they are all having a great time but worry about his daring nature as he grows older.
Prince William has often joked about Louis’ love for the outdoors, stating that he lives outside.
The Duke of Cambridge once playfully commented, “Louis just enjoys playing outside the whole time.”
Known for his boisterous nature, Louis further solidified his reputation during the Easter weekend when the Cambridge family visited Windsor Castle.
As the family prepared to leave, Louis entertained onlookers by attempting to jump into the car boot along with their bags.
With a running start, he eventually made it into the back of the car, bringing laughter to those watching.
Although Prince Louis didn’t attend the Easter Sunday service or Prince Philip’s memorial service, where his older siblings impressed royal fans with their poise, it is expected that as he grows older and approaches primary school age, he will gradually step into the public spotlight.
Happy birthday, Prince Louis!
