Duchess Kate has recently taken her two children on a visit to the school they are about to attend.
Prince William and Catherine, also known as the Duchess of Cambridge, are getting ready to make a move from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage, as their children prepare to start their education at Lambrook School in Berkshire.
With new homes and new schools on the horizon, Prince William and Duchess Kate are gearing up for a season of change this fall.
Their three children, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7), and Prince Louis (4), will all be embarking on a new educational journey this year.
Previously, George and Charlotte were enrolled at Thomas’s Battersea School in London.
However, they will now be attending Lambrook School, a private institution in Berkshire, starting next month.
Kensington Palace made the announcement on Monday, revealing the plans for the royal children’s education.
George had been a student at Thomas’s Battersea since 2017, while Charlotte joined in 2019, before the decision to switch schools was made.
The transition to a new school coincides with the family’s move to a different residence.
The Duke and Duchess will be relocating to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor’s Home Park, departing from their current official residence at Kensington Palace.
This change of scenery has been approved by Queen Elizabeth II, who has granted the family permission to use the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage.
Built in 1831, the cottage is situated within the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Expressing their gratitude, William and Kate released a statement through Kensington Palace, expressing their appreciation to Thomas’s Battersea.
They also shared their satisfaction in finding a school that aligns with their values and principles for all three of their children.
Lambrook School, where the royal children will be enrolled, is a well-established preparatory school spanning 52 acres.
