Earl Spencer, the brother of the beloved Princess Diana, has made a poignant revelation by announcing his separation from his wife of 13 years, Karen Spencer.
The disclosure, characterized as deeply sorrowful, was shared with the Mail on Sunday on June 8.
Earl Spencer expressed his profound sadness over the decision, stating, “It is immensely sad.
I aspire to dedicate my life to my children and grandchildren, and I extend my best wishes to Karen for happiness in the future.”
The couple reportedly revealed their decision to part ways abruptly to the staff at Althorp Estate in April.
This estate holds significance as the final resting place of Princess Diana, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in August 1997.
Their 12-year-old daughter, Charlotte Diana, bears a name that pays homage to Earl Spencer’s late sister, Princess Diana.
Earl Spencer has a total of six children, with four from his previous marriage to Victoria Lockwood and two from his second marriage to Caroline Freud.
Karen Spencer, on the other hand, brings two daughters from her past marriage to Hollywood producer Mark Gordon into the mix.
