Meghan Markle’s return to the upcoming Suits revival has been officially ruled out.
Aaron Korsh, the creator of the show, has made it clear that Markle’s character will not be featured in the new spin-off based in Los Angeles.
The Mirror has obtained this exclusive information.
Korsh is currently developing a pilot and series concept for NBC’s Suits LA, a spin-off that will introduce a fresh set of characters in a law firm on the West Coast.
Despite speculations about Markle’s potential comeback to acting, Prince Harry’s wife is not being considered for any role in the project at this point.
The showrunner is determined to ensure the success of his new venture independently, aiming to replicate the impressive streaming records achieved by the original series on Netflix.
Rachel Harris, a close friend of Korsh and former Suits actress known for her roles in Lucifer and Disney Plus series Goosebumps, disclosed this information at the 11th Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Guild Awards in Beverly Hills.
During an exclusive interview, Harris revealed that Korsh had explicitly informed her that Meghan Markle would not be part of Suits LA.
Notably, there has been no mention of Markle in any discussions between Korsh and Harris, emphasizing the creator’s decision to move forward without involving the Duchess of Sussex.
In a surprising turn of events, Patrick J. Adams, who portrayed Michael Ross in Suits alongside Markle, expressed his reluctance to engage with the Duchess.
Despite their on-screen chemistry and shared success on the legal drama series, Adams admitted to having no communication with Meghan, stating, “zero.”
While Meghan’s former co-stars, including Adams, Gina Torres, and Sarah Rafferty, were present at the Sussexes’ wedding in 2018, the actress seems to have distanced herself from her former colleagues.
This behavior has raised questions about Meghan’s approach to relationships and her willingness to maintain connections post-fame.
Adams’ apprehension in reaching out to Meghan hints at a shift in their dynamic, possibly influenced by Meghan’s altered status and demeanor.
Similarly, Gina Torres, who attended Meghan’s royal wedding, indicated a lack of ongoing contact with the Duchess, attributing it to the transient nature of relationships in the entertainment industry.
The evolving dynamics among the Suits cast members and Meghan Markle reflect the complexities of maintaining friendships in the spotlight.
As the narrative unfolds, the exclusion of Markle from the Suits revival underscores the show creator’s strategic vision for the spin-off series, setting the stage for a fresh ensemble of characters to take center stage in the legal drama’s new iteration.
