Prince Harry has reportedly contacted the Duke of Norfolk, who is responsible for arranging the coronation, to demand a balcony appearance for himself and Meghan.
The 18th Duke of Norfolk, Edward Fitzell and Howard, holds a significant role in overseeing major ceremonial occasions.
He was in charge of organizing the late Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations last June and her state funeral in September.
The Fitzell and Howards are one of the oldest aristocratic families in the country, with their family seat located at Arundel Castle in West Sussex.
The castle’s grounds span an impressive 16,000 acres, making it the largest estate in the region.
The 18th Duke of Norfolk, aware that the guest list for the late Queen’s coronation showed 8,000 people in attendance, has reduced the number to 2,000 with the approval of Prince Charles.
However, demands from Montecito, where Harry and Meghan currently reside, are pouring in rapidly.
It seems that Meghan, driven by her desire to stay relevant, is pushing Harry to secure a balcony appearance for both of them.
She may have told him, “You’re the King’s son, get us on that balcony.
We need to be seen rubbing shoulders with royalty or our relevance will diminish.”
Perhaps she even added, “Forget about wanting privacy and stop watching us.
I want to be the center of attention.”
While the request for a balcony appearance is now in the hands of the coronation organizer, it is highly unlikely that Harry and Meghan will be granted this opportunity during King Charles’ coronation.
A source close to the Sussexes claimed that they had asked to be allowed on the balcony even before confirming their attendance.
They specifically requested that their children, Archie and Lilibet, be included in the ceremony and that their entire family be present on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
However, royal expert Angela Mollard argued that the King will most likely deny their request in order to maintain focus on a smaller portion of the family.
Mollard stated, “They want to be on the balcony for the coronation without even confirming their attendance.
This is five weeks away.
They need to plan accordingly.
There is no chance they will be on the balcony.
The Queen wanted a slimmed-down monarchy, and Charles is further enforcing that.”
It is clear that Meghan is eager to capture photos and videos of herself alongside the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
But is she willing to subject her children to sensory overload and unfamiliar faces for the sake of a lucrative shot?
It seems so, as Meghan has shown a willingness to expose her children to distressing situations, similar to Harry walking behind his mother’s coffin.
However, this greedy approach contradicts the narrative being put forth by those posing as royal experts, who continue to speculate about the possibility of the Sussexes and their children appearing on the balcony.
According to a source from OK!
magazine, the inclusion of Archie and Lilibet in the ceremony has never been a point of contention.
It is common knowledge that small children do not attend royal events of this magnitude due to restlessness and tantrums.
In conclusion, Harry and Meghan’s demand for a balcony appearance during the coronation is highly unlikely to be granted.
While they may desire the spotlight, it seems that King Charles is determined to maintain a more focused and streamlined monarchy.
