Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves at odds over the idea of spending Christmas with the royal family this year, amid speculation that they were not extended an invitation.
Despite their previous claims of wanting to celebrate the festive season at Sandringham alongside Harry’s relatives, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as working members of the royal family three years ago, have yet to finalize their plans.
This raises the question of whether this will be the year they finally reunite with the rest of the royals.
Adding fuel to the fire, author Omid Scobie recently released his royal biography, “Endgame,” which contains scathing allegations against the monarchy and several senior members of the family.
Surprisingly, Harry and Meghan have chosen to remain silent since the book’s release and have not distanced themselves from the claims or Scobie himself.
In light of these circumstances, Royal and Showbiz reporter Kinsey Schofield spoke to GB News, stating that it is too soon after the publication of “Endgame” for the royal family to forgive the Sussexes.
Moreover, Schofield revealed that Meghan has no intention of reconciling with her husband’s family or returning to the UK.
Schofield shared her insights, suggesting that while Harry genuinely misses his family, Meghan lacks any desire to mend fences in the UK.
Instead, she seems more interested in leveraging the platform they have acquired to capitalize on their fame or infamy.
It is likely that Harry is feeling a profound sense of loneliness and longing for the chaos that used to surround their joyous Christmases together.
However, for Meghan, the motivation appears to be primarily financial.
In a surprising twist, Schofield also disclosed that Meghan Markle’s talent agency, WME, is experiencing difficulties in securing lucrative deals for the couple due to the existing animosity surrounding their rift with the monarchy.
Notably, Dior, which was previously rumored to be collaborating with Meghan, recently dressed Queen Camilla and appointed the actress portraying Kate Middleton in “The Crown” as their new face.
This highlights the fact that it is Kate from “The Crown,” not Meghan, who has become the brand ambassador for Dior.
Considering these circumstances, it becomes challenging to ignore the reports suggesting that Harry and Meghan must reconcile with the royal family if they wish to navigate successfully through Hollywood.
As the holiday season approaches, the question of whether Harry and Meghan will join the royal family for Christmas remains unanswered.
The conflicting desires and motivations between the couple further complicate the situation.
While Harry yearns for the familiarity and excitement of past festive celebrations, Meghan seems more focused on capitalizing on their fame and securing financial stability.
