Princess Catherine’s brother, James Middleton, and his wife, Ulizie Thevenet, have become proud parents as they welcomed their first baby.

The couple, known for their work as entrepreneurs and mental health advocates, were spotted pushing a stroller in London’s Notting Hill area, as reported by the Daily Mail.

While James and Ulizie have not yet confirmed the news themselves, the baby’s name and gender remain a mystery.

This joyful addition to their family makes James and Ulizie first-time parents, and it also brings happiness to Kate Middleton, who becomes an aunt once again.

James, the youngest child and only son of Carol and Michael Middleton, comes from a family that is already well-versed in the art of grandparenting.

Alongside Princess Kate and Prince William’s three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – Carol and Mike are also grandparents to Pippa and James Matthew’s three young ones, Arthur, Grace, and Rose.

James and Ulizie’s love story began in 2018, and a year later, they got engaged.

They tied the knot in France in September 2021.

Interestingly, James credits his beloved dog, Ella, who sadly passed away earlier this year, for introducing him to his wife.

In a heartfelt essay for The Telegraph in 2019, James revealed that he first connected with Ulizie at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea when his cocker spaniel immediately gravitated towards the French financial analyst.

Mistaking James for a server, Ulizie ordered a drink, and from that moment, their destiny intertwined.

The couple shared their pregnancy news on July 5, with James posting a photo on Instagram of Ulizie cradling her baby bump while their golden retriever, Mabel, playfully lifted her sweater.

James captioned the photo, “We couldn’t be more excited, while Mabel might be ❤️.

It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella in January, however, we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family ❤️.”

Last month, James celebrated their second wedding anniversary by sharing scenic photos of their adventures together on Instagram.

He expressed his love for Ulizie and his anticipation for their future, saying, “Two years married and I couldn’t be more in love with you, and still, the best is yet to come.

I cannot wait to have another little human joining our adventures.”

With the arrival of James and Ulizie’s baby, Princess Kate’s extended family continues to grow.
